Notable Cases On Monday, at 7:26 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Serramonte Shopping Center on a report of a subject who was acting irate. The subject said he was having anxiety because there were rats crawling all over his skin. The subject, a 36-year old San Francisco resident, consented to being searched, and the officer found a glass pipe in his pants pocket. The pipe is commonly used to ingest methamphetamine, and the subject advised he last used methamphetamine three hours before we contacted him. He was arrested for being under the influence and taken to jail. On Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Pollicita School on a report of a possibly mentally ill male who was wearing a blue tank top and camouflage shorts loitering in front of the school, staring at students and touching his genitals. Officers contacted the subject, a 30-year old Daly City resident, and determined he was, indeed, afflicted with some type of mental health issue and brought him home to his aunt. On Tuesday, at 1:48 p.m., the San Mateo County Probation Department asked for our assistance with a probation search of a residence on the 500 block of Cedar Street. The probation department wanted to make sure the 36-year old resident who was on probation for sales of controlled substances was complying with the terms of his probation. During the search, officers found controlled substances to include Adderall, Xanax, cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana brownies, along with money, a digital scale and a glass pipe. The subject was booked into jail for possession for sales of a controlled substance, possession for sales of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and for a probation violation. On Wednesday, at 1:43 p.m., an 18-year old reporting party said he was walking back to his residence on the unit block of West Market Street and saw a brown grocery paper bag on fire next to the front of his house. The victim ran into her house and dialed She described the suspect as a white male between years, large build, red hair, red beard, wearing a dark green shirt and aviator glasses. The vehicle was described as a black Chevrolet Silverado pick up with tinted rear passenger windows with a license plate starting with the number 6. On Sunday, at 1:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to a residence on the 200 block of 3 rd Avenue on a report of a shooting into an inhabited dwelling and the damage of personal property. The residents reported hearing a loud noise and found a hole resembling a bullet hole in the bedroom window on the west side of the residence. They also noticed a secondary hole on the wall of their bedroom. The residents say they do not have any problems with anyone and do not know who would have done this. Officers checked the area but could not locate anyone. No one was injured. Robberies There was one robbery and two attempted robberies during the past week. On Friday, at 7:12 p.m., multiple officers were dispatched to Gellert Park on a report of a robbery that just occurred. The victim removed his BAPE jacket and the suspect ran northbound towards Hickey Boulevard. The victim gave a description of two other subjects who left in a green vehicle. With a description provided by the victim, officers were able to locate all three suspects.
