A records check of the driver revealed she had an active misdemeanor warrant with the Oakdale Police Department. A search found her to be in possession of a controlled substance. She was cited and released on a promise to appear. suspicious circumstances. Unknown suspect(s) rummaged through two banks of mailboxes. No theft was reported. A report was taken for informational purposes. Found property. Deputy made contact with a subject. A records check of the subject determined he was subject to a search as part of his terms of probation. A search of his residence and person was conducted. He was found to be in possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell. A further search revealed he was also in possession of ammunition. He was arrested and booked into the SMC Jail. Deputy performed a traffic stop after observing a driver using a cellphone. A records check of the driver revealed his license was suspended. He was cited and released on a promise to appear. Unknown suspect(s) shattered the rear hatch window of the victim s vehicle and stole several items. There are no leads. several subjects drinking and smoking. Upon arrival, deputy made contact with a subject who refused to give his full name. A records check revealed his true name and he was positively identified. He was cited and released on a promise to appear. Deputy took a report of a missing adult. He was entered into the Missing Person System. Deputy made contact with a subject who was swaying on the sidewalk. The subject displayed objective signs of being under the influence of alcohol and was unable to care for himself. 5 block of Av 6 th Av / Semicircular Rd 2900 block of Calvin Av El Camino Real / Av (A) HS Possess Narcotic Controlled (A) PC - Shoplift 594(b)(1) PC Deputies were dispatched on a report of a shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival, it was learned a female subject who entered the store and stole several items had fled the scene and was being chased by an employee. Deputies were able to locate the subject. A search found her to be in possession of the stolen items and a controlled substance. A citizen s arrest form was completed by the employee and the female was transported and booked into the SMC Jail. Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check. Deputies were advised an intoxicated male was standing near a vehicle playing music loudly. Upon contact, it was determined the subject was heavily intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He was arrested and transported to the SMC Jail to be released when sober. vandalism. Upon arrival, it was learned the reporting party and an unknown subject were involved in a road rage incident. The unknown subject exited his vehicle and proceeded to yell at the victim. The subject then kicked and punched the victim s car and left the scene. The total damage was approximately $900.
