1 Southeastern Louisiana University Daily Crime Log September 2017 This disposition designates a case that is under investigation or has otherwise not been closed or referred to another agency or Department. The student who made the statements spoke with a University Counselor and was found to be no threat to themselves or others :00 PM 10:29 PM 3:00 PM 10:29 PM North Campus PA System Washington Hall Maintenance Request: During a monthly test of the Emergency PA System, the north campus speakers did not function. Disturbance: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers found a student in an altercation with their parents. The parent was advised they could not disturb the residents of the building and was asked to leave the area. Page 1 of 9

The nonstudent suspect was located on campus and arrested for battery of a dating partner. The subject was transported to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail for booking /2/2017 at 4:40 PM 9/2/2017 at 4:40 PM Strawberry Stadium Medical Emergency: A non-student was treated on scene for a twisted ankle by Acadian Ambulance. The subject refused medical /2/2017 at 10:22 PM 9/2/2017 at 10:22 PM University Center Security Violation: An officer conducting building checks discovered doors propped open that were previously secured during building checks /3/2017 at 7:21 PM 9/3/2017 at 7:21 PM Strawberry Stadium Medical Emergency: A non-student athlete was injured during an athletic event. The subject was transported to North Oaks Hospital by Acadian Ambulance for treatment :17 AM 1:17 AM Parking Garage Suspicious Person: Officers observed a subject enter the 4th floor elevator. The area was checked but the subject was unable to be located :52 AM 10:52 AM North Oak Street at Tennessee Avenue citation for careless operation and following too close :39 PM 11:13 PM 10:23 AM 1:39 PM 11:13 PM 10:23 AM Parking Garage St. Tammany Hall Lot University Avenue at West Tornado Drive for expired temporary license plate. for parking in a handicap parking space without proper citation for no drivers license and a verbal warning for improper display of a license plate. Hammond Hall Theft: A student reported a theft of a bicycle. Pennington Center Auto Crash: No injuries reported at the scene. Science Building Annex Biology Building Maintenance Request: Officers located a set of doors that would not properly secure. Maintenance Request: Officers located a set of doors that would not properly secure :37 AM 2:15 AM Zachary Taylor Hall Medical Emergency: A student reported wanting to harm their self and requested to speak with a counselor. The student was transported to North Oaks Hospital by Acadian Ambulance. A University Counselor met the student at the hospital :23 PM 7:44 AM 9:46 AM 12:12 PM 6:45 PM 2:00 PM 9:46 AM 12:12 PM Southeastern Oaks and East McClimans Hall Lot Theft: Officers recovered a bicycle in the McClimans Hall Lot. The bicycle was found to be stolen from Southeastern Oaks. The owner was contacted and the bicycle was returned. Washington Hall Theft: A student reported a theft of a bicycle. University Avenue at North General Pershing Meade Hall for careless operation, no proof of insurance, and misuse of a temporary license plate. The vehicle was towed. Medical Emergency: A student was transported to North Oaks Hospital by Acadian Ambulance for treatment. Page 3 of 9

The vehicle was towed. Suspicious Activity: Officers located burned items on the ground. University Ban: A non-student was issued a University Ban Notice for possessing a student's hangtag and altering it. citation for disobeying a stop sign. Disciplinary Action :42 PM 7:42 PM Strawberry Stadium Disturbing the Peace: A student was removed from a home football game following a verbal disturbance with another student. The student who was removed was issued a Student Conduct Referral. Disciplinary Action :25 AM 8:00 PM Strawberry Stadium Missing Person: A student reported their boyfriend, also a student, as missing. The student was located the following morning in good health and advised officers that they were never missing or in danger :24 AM 1:30 AM St. Tammany Hall Cyberstalking and No Driver's License: A student received a threat via mobile electronic device. During the investigation, the non-student suspect was observed on campus. The suspect was issued a University Ban Notice and a state traffic citation for no driver's license :32 PM 3:32 PM Dakota Street at North Oak Street citation for illegal window tint, expired MVI, and improper display of a temporary license plate. Damage to Property: An employee reported a tree limb falling on their vehicle last month. Auto Crash: No injuries reported at the scene :37 AM 6:00 PM Hammond Hall Elevator Simple Criminal Damage to Property: An employee finding a damaged light in the elevator :06 PM 10:45 AM North Oak Park Vehicle Burglary: An NTCC student reported finding their vehicle window broken and items missing from inside their vehicle :17 PM 12:17 PM Sims Library Trespassing: A non-student who is banned from campus was arrested for trespassing after being found inside a campus building.
