2 INVITATION TO SPONSORS Welcome On behalf of the organising committee it gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 2018 ANZGS meeting in Sydney on February 23rd-24th. ANZGS 2018 promises to be an excellent meeting in a welcoming and collegiate environment. Our international Lowe lecturer is Mr John Salmon from Oxford, United Kingdom, an internationally acclaimed glaucoma expert, teacher and lecturer. The Gillies lecture will be presented by A/Professor Paul Healey from Sydney, a researcher and clinician with an international reputation. ANZGS 2018 will be held at the Raddison Blu Plaza Hotel situated in the CBD, near Circular Quay. The hotel is set in the historic Fairfax building and is just a short walk to the Opera House, Royal Botanic Gardens and the Rocks area. The conference dinner will be held on the Friday evening at the Bentley Restaurant and Bar which is located in the hotel. I hope to see many of you in Sydney for a mixture of interesting cases, scientific presentations and updates, and taste of the wonderful Sydney Summer.
