Melbourne is a river city, although close to the coast, with the Yarra River running through it. The Southbank precinct holds attractions such as The Arts Centre, MTC, and the National Gallery for Victoria, and at Federation Square you can see the Aboriginal art collection at the Ian Potter Centre NGV, or head to The Edge Theatre to watch different performances.
