Communications Beyond Dolgellau there are good road links for Chester and hrewsbury which connect to the national motorway network facilitating ease of access to Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. Barmouth tation is on the Cambrian line with a rail service to Birmingham New treet and from Pwllheli there is a connection to Bangor from which there is a service to London Euston via Crewe. Believed to date in part from the 17th century Glandwr Mill was converted in the mid-20th century and it has recently undergone a comprehensive programme of refurbishment.
