WIOA conferences attract a wide range of attendees including key decision makers and many qualified prospects in the water industry. WIOA stages annual conferences in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria which include a major exhibition where companies display products, services and innovations. WIOA Conferences WIOA conferences aim to: Distribute the latest technical and research based information through platform and poster presentations. Update the knowledge and skills of operational staff through interaction with fellow water industry employees. Provide the opportunity to view and discuss the latest advances in technical equipment, products and services with suppliers and industry consultants. WIOA endeavours to develop our members and the wider water industry by providing a relaxed forum for operations staff to present technical papers (often for the first time) to their peers. In doing so confidence is raised, new skills learnt and the opportunity to discuss real operational issues with their peers can result in the formation of valuable networks. Award winning presenters from other WIOA state conferences as well as New Zealand are invited to deliver their papers in order to share knowledge. The conferences are the largest annual state based water events held in regional areas and provide a chance to discover and research new technology, equipment, services and ideas. Extended breaks in the conference technical program are deliberately designed to provide an appropriate amount of time to delegates to interact with the exhibition and inspect all the technology and equipment on display. (All prices are ex GST.) Welcome Reception - $3,000 per conference - NSW & Queensland Only The welcome reception is held on the Tuesday evening of each conference. Guests enjoy finger food, beer and wine and the opportunity to mingle after a site tour for delegates and the bump in for exhibitors. It is the first time participants come together at each event. Morning & Afternoon Teas - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference Morning and afternoon tea times are savored by WIOA attendees as a time to stretch the legs from listening to the papers, refuel, visit the exhibition, network and enjoy a break. Morning and afternoon tea sponsorship can include centerpieces or table runners. Pre-Dinner Hospitality Wednesday - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference Thursday - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference Guests will enjoy finger food, beer and wine and the opportunity to mingle prior to the evening dinner. Sponsors logo will be positioned on serving trays used during this part of the conference, as well as shown on screen during breaks. Drinks Wednesday - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference Thursday - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference Guests will enjoy beer, wine and soft drink during the evening dinner. Drinks sponsors will be recognised during the evening, on the menu and acknowledged during the evening dinner. The sponsors logo will also be shown on screen during breaks. Entertainment Wednesday - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference Thursday - $3,000 per conference - NSW & Queensland Only WIOA conferences have a long tradition of providing exceptional performers who entertain guests during the evening. Sponsors of the entertainer are clearly recognised during the evening by having their logo on screen and through announcements. Barista - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference This sponsorship provides two FREE coffees for each delegate at the event and provides an opportunity for branding on cups,tickets used to redeem the coffee and promotional material displayed around the barista service areas. Logo will also be shown on screen during breaks. Paper Room Naming Rights - $8,000 all 3 or $3,000 per conference Naming rights for the papers room includes the use of a 90 second promotional video or advertisement shown at the beginning of each technical sessions. The room will be referred to using your organisations name and and logo will also be shown on screen during breaks. Presidents Dinner - $3,000 - Queensland Conference Only WIOA conducts a dinner on the Tuesday eveining of conference week where dignatories, sponsors, staff and our volunteers come together for a relaxed dinner. It is a great networking opportunity and a way that WIOA is able to thank all our supporters. The sponsor is invited to make a shourt 3-5 minuter address attendees at the Presidents Dinner. 6

7 SPONSORSHIP PROSPECTUS Staff and Volunteer Shirts - $5,000 all conferences (1 year only) Volunteer and staff shirts are a great way to have your brand recognised during and after the event. The shirts are worn by staff and volunteers at all three events to allow easy identification of those who are directly associated with the management of the event. The sponsors logo will be shown on screen during breaks. Notebook & Pens - $3,000 all 3 + supply of items Branded notepad and pen are supplied by this sponsor and are given to all delegates. The notebooks are used not only at the conference but also after the event ensuring your brand is prominently on display to the operators. The sponsors logo will also be shown on screen during breaks. Courtesy Buses - $5,000 all 3 or $2,000 per conference What better way to support attendees than by ensuring they find their way home safely after the event. The sponsors logo will be shown on screen during breaks. Equipment - $5,000 all 3 or $2,000 per conference There is a lot of equipment to move and logistics that need to be taken care of to conduct WIOA conferences. The provision of equipment to ensure the smooth running of the conferences is a great way for organisations who work in this space to support the events. Safety - $2,500 all 3 + supply of items The safety of all attendees is paramount! Our safety sponsor provide high visability safety vests to be worn during the bump in and bump out as well as featuring on the safety video shown to all exhibitors and WIOA volunteers as part of a conference induction. The sponsors logo will be shown on screen during breaks. Water & Water Bottles - Supply of items Chilled tap water is provided from two filling stations within conference venues, and the maintenance of these units and the provision of water bottles for delegates is all a part of this sponsorship opportunity. The sponsors logo will be shown on screen during breaks. Raffle Prizes - $1,000 all 3 + Supply of items WIOA conducts a number of charity fundraising activities and donates the proceeds to worthy charities around Australia. The conference raffle is one of our biggest fundraisers and provides the sponsor with much sought after brand recognition at our events. Sponsors logo will be shown on screen during breaks. USB - $1,000 all 3 + Supply of items Provide delegates with a digital version of the manuscript and other WIOA promotional material via a USB. This category inlcudes the provision of the branded USB s for each of the 3 conferences and the loading of all material onto the devices. The sponsor can include promotional material on the USB. 7
