3 INVITATION 3 The Australian Window Association (AWA), the Australian Glass and Glazing Association (AGGA), the National Security Screen Association (NSSA) and the Skylight Industry Association (SIA) invite you to promote your products and services as a sponsor and/or exhibitor at AusFenEx19. From Tuesday, 27 August, to Thursday, 29 August, 2019, at the International Convention Centre, Sydney, AusFenEx19 is the event that will provide you with unprecedented access to the largest gathering of window, glass and security screen industry decision makers. AusFenEx19 presents you with exceptional exposure to this often challenging, difficult to reach market demographic. This event, unlike previous AusFenEx events, will have a significant focus on the industry exhibition. Conference activities will be focused in the exhibition area beginning with the welcome party on Tuesday evening, followed by all conference breaks on Wednesday and the full day of conference activities being held in the exhibition area on Thursday. On Wednesday, the exhibition will be open to all of the window, glass, security screen, building, architectural, design and certifier industries. 4 HOSTS 4 AUSTRALIAN WINDOW ASSOCIATION AUSTRALIAN GLASS & GLAZING ASSOCIATION NATIONAL SECURITY SCREEN ASSOCIATION SKYLIGHT INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION The Australian Window Association (AWA) is a national organisation representing over 600 manufacturers and suppliers to the window and door industry. The AWA s membership is comprised of residential and commercial window manufacturers supplying Australian window and door market requirements. The AWA owns and manages the Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS) and the Australian Fenestration Training Institute (AFTI) and is a NATA accredited Inspection Agency. The AWA is a co-operative whereby all members are encouraged to be involved in the decision making process. We support our members in the areas of compliance, technical support, knowledge and communication. The Australian Glass and Glazing Association (AGGA) is the peak body representing State Association members and individual companies covering glass manufacturers, processors, merchants, glaziers and suppliers of supporting machinery, services and materials. The AGGA s vision is to support the longterm viability of the Australian glass and glazing industry and establish the sector as a provider of safe, high quality and sustainable glass and glazing products and service. The National Security Screen Association (NSSA) is a national, member-based association representing over 100 manufacturers, installers and suppliers dedicated to the support and development of the security door and window screen industry. As the national industry representatives, the NSSA provide a common voice on behalf of all members that: Advocates industry issues to federal, state and local government authorities. Works to simplify state licensing requirements for members. Educates the industry and consumers with practical training and empowers the industry through professional development opportunities. Assists with Australian Standards compliance. The Skylight Industry Association (SIA) membership is made up of skylight manufacturers, skylight resellers, companies that supply raw materials and skylight installers. The Association continues to set professional standards and has been instrumental, in partnership with the AWA, in creating a Skylight Energy Rating Scheme to meet the NCC energy requirements. Association members, working with Standards Australia, have formalised the quality aspects of skylights through the creation of the Skylights Standard AS This standard sets out the basic structural and performance requirements of skylights that members must adhere to. Tested products carry a small sticker to indicate their compliance with the requirements of the Standard

16 EXHIBITION 16 The Trade Exhibition is a major component of AusFenEx19 and will take place in Hall 1 of the International Convention Centre Sydney with over 100 exhibition spaces available. The Exhibition attracts exhibitors from the glass, window, skylight and security screen industries, both within Australia and overseas. The exhibition area is the focus of activity and the prime networking area for both delegates and exhibitors outside sessions. The Welcome Party, lunches and morning and afternoon refreshments are held in the exhibition area, and presentations will be held within the exhibition area on both Wednesday, 28 and Thursday, 29 August, making it a true meeting point for delegates and a wonderful opportunity to rub elbows with key industry decision makers. On Wednesday 28 August the exhibition will be open to the building, architectural, design, window, glass, security screen and skylight industries. AusFenEx19 offers the perfect opportunity to build relationships with key decision makers in the fenestration industry. Delegates use their out of session time to roam the industry exhibition area and network with colleagues and interact with Exhibition stands. 18 TERMS & CONDITIONS By returning this signed Sponsorship & Exhibition Agreement ( Agreement ), you agree to be a non-exclusive Sponsor or Exhibitor of AusFenEx19 organised by the AWA-AGGA ( the Organisers ) and held at the International Convention Centre Sydney from Tuesday, 27 August to Thursday, 29 August, 2019 on the terms and conditions set out below and as attached to this Agreement. 2. Upon receipt of your signed agreement together with a payment for the deposit, acknowledgment of receipt will be sent in writing with a Tax Invoice. YOUR SIGNED AGREEMENT AND PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 30 APRIL, 2019 to obtain full entitlements. 3. You agree to pay AusFenEx19 the full amount payable. 4. Sponsorship entitlements will not commence until a signed agreement has been received and a 50% deposit has been paid. The final 50% balance is due on 30 April, If booking is made after 1 May, 2019 full payment is required immediately. 5. Monies paid are non-refundable. 6. If a sponsor wishes to cancel or change the details of their booking, advice must be made in writing to megan.smith@awa. org.au. The cancellation fees are applicable as follows: Before 30 April, 2019: 50% of the total amount. After 1 May, 2018: 100% of the total amount. 7. All amounts stipulated in this agreement include goods and services tax (GST) of 10%. 8. Please note that your requested category of sponsorship may have a limit to the number of sponsors as specified in the attached documentation and preference will be determined in order of receipt of the signed Agreement and deposit payment. The Organisers will notify you if you are unable to participate in your requested category. 9. Sponsors or exhibitors contracted within 30 days of the conference start date will be charged an additional 15% surcharge on the total amount payable by the sponsor or exhibitor. 10. Sponsors are not permitted to enter the conference sessions or social events, unless the relevant registration is included as part of their particular sponsorship package. However, should Sponsors wish to attend the conference as a delegate, they must register through the online booking system and pay applicable fees. 11. The Organisers may at their discretion use your logo, symbol, trade mark or registered mark in acknowledging your sponsorship in the conference literature where this is offered as part of your particular sponsorship package and no payment shall be made to you for such use. You will be responsible for forwarding your logo, symbol, trade mark or registered mark by the deadline. We request all logos be supplied in an.eps format, or high resolution file of at least 1MB. Should an alternative format be received, the Organisers cannot be held responsible for the quality of the logo displayed in any of the promotional material. 12. In return for the promotion of your company on the AusFenEx19 website, you are required to provide a reciprocal link from your company website to the AusFenEx19 website. 13. Nothing contained in this agreement will be deemed to constitute a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship between you and the Organisers and you must not do anything where you will, in any way, be represented as a partner of the Organisers.
