4 GENERAL The Balnakilly chalets sit in a quiet rural location to the north-west of the village of Kirkmichael within the county of Perthshire. The county has a lot to offer with opportunities for walking, climbing and mountain biking. The Cateran trail passes through the northern boundary of the site providing a great starting point to explore the idyllic Perthshire countryside. The ski slopes of Glenshee can be accessed within half an hour by car. There are golf courses located at Pitlochry and Blairgowrie. Shooting, fishing and stalking can all be taken locally. Upon entering the town turn left after the bridge signposted Kirkmichael/Ballintuim, follow the road for approximately 7 miles and you will reach the village of Kirkmichael. Turn left over the bridge and the road then veers to the right, take the turning to continue straight ahead.
