2 The Rle(s) Overview: WestJet's Service and Sales Agents are respnsible fr creating a remarkable experience fr ur guests thrugh ne-n-ne telephne cntact t arrange air travel n WestJet flights, and prvide infrmatin fr guests with varying needs. Yu are ften the first pint f cntact fr ur guests and play an essential and crucial rle as a WestJet brand ambassadr. We want t make sure ur guests enjy their call with yu, therefre, yu are there t educate and help ur Guests, while creating the experience ur Guests have cme t knw and lve abut WestJet! WestJet is lking fr talent fr the fllwing Service and Sales Agent psitin: Bilingual Shift Wrk - Our Cntact Centre peratins are 24/7/365 days a year and will require yu t be flexible and available t wrk early mrnings, evenings, vernights, weekends, and hlidays. Full-Time (40 hurs per week) - 5 wrking days (8.5 hur shifts) with 2 days ff. Respnsibilities: Bk air travel fr internal and external guests, answer questins and prvide general infrmatin abut travel with WestJet. Prvide pst bking supprt, such as changing and cancelling reservatins, using ur reservatin system. Effectively research and make decisins based n the infrmatin yu have available t yu, while balancing the needs f the guest with the needs f the business. Adhc prjects as assigned. Demnstrated strng cmputer skills with a minimum typing speed f 40 wrds per minute. Intermediate t advanced prficiency with cmputers and experience wrking within a Windws-based envirnment, including Micrsft Wrd, Excel, Outlk and instant messaging Experience using the SabreSnic Reservatin System is an asset Ability t sit fr lng perids f time and handle high call vlumes Organizatinal fit fr WestJet culture, supprting ur Missin, Visin and Values What are sme f the perks? Owners Perfrmance Award (OPA) Annually we review hw we as WestJetters have perfrmed ver the year. On ur Birthday in February we have a celebratin and can earn additinal mney as an Owner s Perfrmance Award (OPA)! Emplyee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) After successful cmpletin f a 90-day perid, emplyees are eligible t participate in ur ESPP, where yu can jin 90% f ur rganizatin in becming a WestJet Owner. Emplyees are eligible t purchase up t 20% f their base salary in WestJet shares and WestJet will match this amunt dllar fr dllar. There is a 1-year vesting perid after which the emplyee is able t cash ut their shares and the WestJet matched cntributin, as they vest. Prfit Sharing WestJet cmmits t sharing its prfits with emplyee wners twice per year in May and Nvember. Yur prfit share amunt can als be rlled int WestJet shares, matched 100% by WestJet, if yu haven t already maximized yur 20% participatin with pay perid deductins. Travel Privileges WestJet Flight Privileges - begin within 10 days frm yur start date. Yu are able t fly anywhere WJ flies n an unlimited basis & at a small fee plus taxes. This applies t yu, yur travel cmpanin, any children (up t 25 years ld if they re enrlled in schl and up t 21 years ld if they are nt) and 2 parents.

4 The cst paid by emplyees is $2.50 plus taxes, fees and surcharges, rughly $50-60 return fr Canadian destinatins and $ fr destinatins utside f Canada. The csts are the same fr yu and yur spuse/travel cmpanin and dependent children, and slightly mre fr yur parents. Yu will receive 10 Buddy Passes annually (prrated) after 180 days f emplyment, t hand ut fr discunted travel t friends and/r family as yu decide. Emplyees/Travel Cmpanin/Dependent Children are able t purchase up t 8 ne-way cnfirmed seats in each calendar year at 50% ff the lwest available fare at time f bking. Additinal reduced travel rates are available with Interline travel partners, including flight, htel, car and ther travel-related agencies. Flexible Benefit Plan We ffer a Flexible Benefit Plan fr full time emplyees which qualify them fr basic benefits cverage, after successful cmpletin 90 days, with the ptin t purchase upgraded cverage. Includes life, health, dental, shrt-term and lng-term disability with WestJet paying fr the majrity f the cverage. Yu are eligible after yu have successfully cmpleted yur first three mnths at WestJet. Other imprtant infrmatin: All cntact centre psitins require 8 weeks (in ffice) training at the YVR training facility. All cmputer hardware required fr the rle will be prvided. Our psitins are in-hme rles and we require ur agents t have the fllwing envirnment fr their hme ffice t be successful: High speed internet and phne line (hardwired 25 Mbps dwnlad and 2.5 Mbps uplad); Safe, secure and distractin free rm with an ergnmic set-up enabling yu t sit fr lng perids f time. Yur hme must be wired t prvide a separate phne line fr wrk purpses. Yur hme must be lcated in an area that established brad-band internet prviders are able t service.
