3 Dallas Airprt System Develpment Aviatin Business Develpment Prgram Cmpanies cnsidering a relcatin r expansin r new aernautical r nn-aernautical develpment may be eligible fr a grant pursuant t the Ecnmic Develpment Prgrams prvisins in Chapter 380 f the Lcal Gvernment Cde fr the public purpses f prmting state r lcal ecnmic develpment r stimulating business and cmmercial activity in the city. Grants will be cnsidered n a case-by-case basis and are subject t funding limitatins and investment and jb creatin requirements. Cmpanies will be required t meet the fllwing perfrmance standards: Lve Field Airprt: Prjects must create r retain 100 jbs and prvide $5 millin f investment Dallas Executive Airprt: Prjects must create r retain 25 jbs and prvide $1 millin f investment Grant funds are payable upn cmpletin r attainment f the public purpse pursuant t a written cntract between the city and the cmpany 2

4 Dallas Executive Develpment In additin t the numerus prjects the State and the City f Dallas have partnered tgether n; the Department f Aviatin has invested significant enterprise mney int develping infrastructure n the west side f the airprt t psitin Dallas Executive fr future develpment Utility investments that include water, sewer, data, electricity, rads and drainage. All f these prjects are r will be lcated n the west side f the airprt pening up aernautical and nn-aernautical acreage fr develpment Examples f these planning effrts are: Air Traffic Cntrl Twer Airfield Maintenance Building New Perimeter Rad New maintenance rad fr maintenance vehicles t stay ff runways and taxiways Aircraft parking aprn and taxiway infrastructure t cnnect t runway system. Relcatin f the Dallas Plice Helicpter Hangar as the current facility has reached it s useful life 3

7 Dallas Airprt System Develpment These investments frm City f Dallas, State f Texas, and airprt stakehlders have prvided pprtunities fr Dallas Executive Airprt t psitin itself as a cmpetitive reliever airprt and interest in the facility has materialized It has been and will remain a gal f the City f Dallas, Department f Aviatin, t attract crprate business aircraft, aircraft manufacturer facilities, service centers fr crprate aircraft, the develpment f nnaviatin supprt businesses, and t implement imprvements utlined in ur planning dcuments The Department f Aviatin has briefed Ecnmic Develpment Cmmittee n the planning, develpment and prgress f Dallas Executive Airprt. Briefings ccurred n May 18 th, 2012, and February 3 rd,
