Meetings with guest speakers, training wrkshps and business seminars are rganised frm time t time, ften in cnjunctin with ther rganizatins r businesses such as Nrthland Inc r a specialist cmpany. These are either free r at reduced rates fr members. A mnthly newsletter is prduced t prvide up-t-date infrmatin n what is happening in the regin, wrkshps, events and business pprtunities.

Business Paihia Executive has representatives n many grups including the Destinatin Marketing Grup, The Turism Develpment Grup, The Mtel Assciatin and Fcus Paihia. Business Paihia is a member f the Bay f Islands Marketing Grup which is extremely beneficial t the regin as a whle. This ges hand in hand with the Business and Residential Christmas Decrating Cmpetitins. New Year s Eve Firewrks Extravaganza, a magical night, when firewrks light up the harbur, enjyed by families and friends - creating a fantastic safe atmsphere n New Year s Eve. Street Perfrmers fr the past few years we have funded Fuse Circus Campgrund Chas and The Biggest Little Circus t have street perfrmances fr 10 days frm New Year s Eve int January a great draw card t get peple int twn. Paihia Summer Festival - ver a week f free summer fun fr children and families, and has a prven track recrd f drawing plenty f visitrs t twn The it! Bay f Islands Fd and Wine Festival An icnic NZ Headline Act, all day entertainment, quality lcal fd and wine. The festival is int its 8 th year and has been getting bigger and better. This festival was n Labur Weekend fr several years and then in 2016 we mved it t a quieter weekend which still prved t be a success and had twn humming and accmmdatin full! Twn has an amazing vibe arund it and peple that came especially fr the festival all stayed fr the weekend. The publicity Paihia gt frm this festival the 6 mnths leading up t the festival was fantastic! We have als cntinue t supprt lcal events like the Cuntry Rck Festival, The Jazz and Blues Festival and The Rally f the Nrth t name a few. In 2016 we wrked hard t bring the Sanitarium Weetbix Tryathln event t the Bay f Islands, it was a sellut in 2017 and we have secured it again fr Anther new event run by Business Paihia was a Cmmunity Street Party after the Bay f Islands Beast Mud Run in July this filled the streets in the middle f winter tw years in a rw, and we are lking t extending winter activities. We are cntinuusly lking at events t have in Paihia that will prmte Paihia and drive business t the twn. We have develped an Events Calendar fr the regin s peple knw what is n and can plan their events, and use this as a marketing tl within their wn business t attract visitrs t Paihia.
