Saturday Clsing Speaker: President and Sister Ortn President and Sister Ortn are frm Cedar City, Utah. They have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. They bth wrked at Suthern Utah University and mst f their church callings have been with yuth frm Yung Men s and Yung Wmen s t the YSA s. We lve being with the yuth.

5 General Rules and Plices SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Yung men and yung wmen will camp in different areas f the prperty as directed upn check-in, and shuld nt crss ver the designated bundary. Yuth must prvide their wn sleeping bag, and insulated grund pad. (see equipment list) Yuth will be assigned a sleeping lcatin n arrival. Yung men will be sharing Adirndacks r Canvas Tents depending n which site they are assigned. Yung wmen will be in staff bunk buildings. Sme adults will be with the yuth, but mst f the adults will be in adult camps. Feel free t bring a tent if that is mre cmfrtable fr yu. WEATHER Early Octber typically brings partly cludy skies t the Oregn cast. Day time weather is usually in the upper 50s, and in the 40s during the night. Likely there will be rain, s please plan fr that. CREWs T prmte scial interactin and making new friends, we will divide yuth int EFY-style cmpanies (we are calling them Crews) f abut yuth each. The yuth s name tag will have their assigned crew n it. We hpe that yuth will find a sense f bnding and belnging with their crew, even in the shrt time we have. T encurage this, many f the games and activities will fcus n intra- and inter-cmpany interactins. BATHROOMS/SHOWERS Bathrm facilities will be available at all times. There are latrines at each camp, and bathrms in the staff area. Due t the large number f yuth and adults expected t attend, and the relatively small number f shwers, it may nt be pssible fr all attendees t shwer each day please plan accrdingly! It wuld be a gd time t shwer befre breakfast r during free time. We ask that yuth nt use the shwers during ur lights-ut time, this time will be reserved fr the adults. DRESS CODE The dress standard fr the cnference is infrmal/casual, with n need fr yuth t bring Sunday clthes. (This includes the dance) Clthing shuld be mdest and in gd repair. Temperatures will be brisk at night, s we highly recmmend that everyne bring a rain jacket, lng pants, warm shes and scks, and it might nt hurt t have an insulating cap fr sleeping. Yuth may wear shrts if weather cnditins permit. (Pants will be required Friday fr the rck wall / rpes curse) PHONES/DEVICES Mbile phnes and ther electrnic devices are perfectly fine t bring, just use them respnsibly. Generally, netwrk cverage is pr t nn-existent in camp. There will nt be public WIFI.
