8 General Rules & Cnditins 1. Eligibility Extra Legrm Seat is lcated in Ecnmy Cabin. Passengers wh are meet the safety requirements. (Please refer 2. Safety requirements fr details) Fr free-f-charge benefits t eligible FFP members r redeem a seat with yur Asia Miles, please always requested seat reservatin with Airline Office. 2. Safety Requirements Extra-Legrm Seats lcated near the emergency exit drs are subject t the flight safety guidelines frm the Civil Aviatin Department (CAD) f Hng Kng. A passenger may be assigned an extra-legrm seat if he/she meets the fllwing safety requirements, and will nt bstruct emergency exits in a way f impeding the crew in their duties, bstructing access t emergency equipment, r hindering aircraft evacuatin. Passengers ccupying an extra legrm seat must: Be at least 12 years f age at the cmmencement f the jurney; Be able t understand and carry ut safety instructins in English r Chinese; Be able t prmptly reach, lift and thrw pen the exit dr in an emergency; Nt be a passenger travelling as Unaccmpanied Minr (UMNR); Nt be frail; Nt be a passenger with any permanent r temprary disability, including a passenger travelling with a service dg, using prtable xygen r requiring the use f medical equipment n bard; Nt be seated with an infant; Nt be under the influence f intxicating substance; Nt be travelling with smene wh requires assistance in an emergency; Prepared by Revenue Management - Sales & Distributin Team Page 8

If a passenger des nt fulfil the abve safety requirements, passenger may be re-assigned t a regular Ecnmy seat befre r during the jurney withut refunding f the Extra-Legrm Seat reservatin fees. 3. Ancillary Service Time Limit Ancillary service time limit ffers instant ntificatins t travel agency nce the service is requested, in additin t the existing ticket time limit (ADTK). Otherwise bth seats n that single SSR RQST will be cancelled when the time limit is reached. 4. Vluntary Seat Change Vluntary change f Extra-Legrm Seat is allwed prvided: Seat is available n the same flight r t a different flight/date between CX & KA; Additinal charge r refund will be invlved when change f Extra-Legrm Seat between shrt haul and lng haul destinatins r v.v.. 5. Invluntary Seat Change In invluntary cases, re-seat f extra legrm seat t any ther CX/KA flights is pssible. Refund Extra Legrm Seat is a NON-REFUNDABLE paid service except in the fllwing situatins: Custmers wh have already paid fr an Extra-Legrm Seat and wish t pay fr an upgrade t a higher class afterwards (i.e. vluntary upgrade including redemptin upgrade); Custmers wh have already paid fr an Extra-Legrm Seat and wish t rebk nt anther flight with n Extra-Legrm Seat available; Invluntary circumstances which result in Extra-Legrm Seat being unavailable, such as: Aircraft Equipment Change (AEC), flight cancellatin, disruptin and miscnnectins t/frm CX r KA flights. 7. Refund Prcedure A BSP Refundable Applicatin Frm (RAA) frm BSPLink shall be submitted t the Airline ffice with evidence prvided when 6. Refund circumstances met. Extra Legrm Seat must be remved frm the custmer recrd right befre refunding f BSP EMD-A. The BSP EMD-A must be disassciated frm ETKT t avid the cupn being lifted with ETKT, therwise the BSP EMD-A with final status cdes are irreversible and prhibit any further actins t be taken. 8. Q & A a. Hw much des Extra-Legrm Seat cst? Autmated price based n ATPCO filing with all applicable service taxes is available. (Please refer P.3 applicable rutes & price ) b. Any cmmissin t travel agency? Extra Legrm Seat is NON-COMMISSABLE. c. Are Extra-Legrm Seats transferable t ther passengers? Extra Legrm Seat is NON-TRANSFERRABLE. 11 d. Culd I vid the BSP EMD-A fr Extra-Legrm Seat? Alike ETKT, nly the issuing ffice can vid BSP EMD-A n the same calendar day f issuance and befre clsure f sales. And the Extra Legrm Seat must be remved frm the custmer recrd right after the BSP EMD-A is vided. e. Hw t cmpute the Ancillary Service Time Limit? The service time limit will be 24-hurs after the service is reserved r 1-hur prir t departure, whichever is earlier. And it is subject t change withut prir ntice. f. My custmer has purchased Extra-Legrm Seat fr his utbund jurney. Can he use it fr the inbund jurney instead? The BSP EMD-A must have the same rute as the assciated ETKT. If yur custmer wuld like t change it t a different rute, please exchange/reissue the BSP EMD-A and re-assciate it with ETKT. g. My custmer has purchased Extra-Legrm Seat fr HKG-PVG n CX. He wishes t change t a HKG-PVG flight n KA instead. Can he transfer the BSP EMD-A frm the CX flight t KA flight? The BSP EMD-A must have the same carrier as the assciated ETKT. If yur custmer wuld like t change frm a CX t KA flight please exchange/reissue the BSP EMD-A and re-assciate it with ETKT. h. My custmer wuld like t change frm an Extra Legrm Seat t anther Extra Legrm Seat, hw shuld I prceed? Whenever the seat is available, yu can prceed the seat change in their agency system withut the need f exchange/reissue BSP EMD-A. i. My custmer has purchased Extra-Legrm Seat fr bth his utbund and inbund flights, issued n the same ETKT and BSP EMD-A. Later n, he changed his inbund flight and partial reissue ETKT. In this case, shuld I reissue the BSP EMD-A as well? Currently we d nt supprt a single BSP EMD-A t be assciated with multiple ETKTs, yu will be required t re-issue the BSP EMD- A and re-assciate it t the new ETKT. Ntes: we are currently wrking n system enhancement t enable multiple ETKT assciatins n a single BSP EMD-A.
