Vernon and Delano Officers Leonard Morrow, Vincent Pedrini and Sgt. Troy Dangerfield went to the corner of Mt. Vernon and Delano where a domestic dispute between two women and a father of one of the protagonists had spilled out onto the street. After an investigation, a resident of the 300 block of Mt. Vernon was arrested for assault and the father, who lives in the same residence, was cited for misdemeanor battery. Case # /14/07 9:40 am Santa Rosa and San Jose Officer Michael Wibunsin stopped a vehicle for a right turn violation. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Athens, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1997 Mitsubishi was towed. Case # /14/07 10:24 am 29th and Church Officer Michael Walsh spotted an inebriate attempting to flag down cars. The suspect, who lives on Byron Court, was arrested for drunk in public and a no bail arrest warrant from Contra Costa County for drunk driving and driving with a suspended license. Case # /14/07 2:35 pm Paris and Rolph Officer William Tam stopped a vehicle for a license plate violation. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Valley, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1996 Chevrolet was towed. Case # /14/07 5:00 pm Mission and Italy Officer Michael Howard stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The 1

2 driver, who lives on the 2300 block of 3rd Street, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1988 Honda was towed. Case # /14/07 5:43 pm Cortland and Mission Officers Robin Odum and Ernest Wilberg stopped a subject who was drinking alcohol in public. The resident of the 1700 block of Revere, was wanted on a drug warrant. Case # /14/07 11:32 pm Highway 101 and Vermont Officers Robin Odum and Ernest Wilberg spotted a vehicle at Cesar Chavez and Hampshire driving at a high rate of speed recklessly. They finally stopped the vehicle at the Vermont off ramp of the freeway. The resident of Wallen Court was drunk, failed chemical tests and was arrested for drunk driving. 4 ARRESTS: 07/15/07 9:00 am Ocean and Alemany Officer Joan Cronin stopped a driver for a stopping requirement. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Chicago, was unlicensed and uninsured. She was cited and her 1998 Toyota was towed. Case # /15/07 9:21 am Naples and Geneva Officer Jose Lopez stopped a driver for a stopping requirement. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Naples, was unlicensed, uninsured and had no identification. He was arrested and his 1992 Acura was towed. Case # /15/07 9:45 am 300 block of Madrid Officer Bud Massey contacted a suspect who was slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. A warrant check revealed the resident of the 1200 block of Athens was wanted on a no bail narcotics warrant and a warrant from Marin County for driving unlicensed. Case # /15/07 7:14 pm 1500 block of Dolores Officers Shawn Phillips and Angus Chambers went to the 1500 block of Dolores along with other ofifcers and arrested a suspect who was violating a restraining order. Young Lane San Francisco, Ca Telephone The monthly police/community meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Ingleside Station, #1 John V. Young Lane. 2. Residents in the Elsie neighborhood meet tonight at 7:30 pm at 150 Elsie. San Francisco Safe and Ingleside offciers will be in attendance. Some of the issues to be discussed are fire safety, police response and crime prevention. 3. Today Ingleside officers Michael Walsh, Jose Lopez, Jude Rand, Jean Etcheveste and Marion Campion-Healy conducted a pedestrian sting at Mission and Cotter. Thirty-six (36) citations were issued. ARRESTS: 07/16/07 12:30 am First block of Park Officers Yvette Poindexter, Michael Brown, Jason Jefferson and Leonard Morrow went to the first block of Park on a domestic violence case. A male had struck his girlfriend after a dispute. The suspect was arrested for assault. Case # /16/07 6:45 am First block of Tiffany 6

7 Officers Michael Walsh and Jennifer Marino went to the first block of Tiffany on a dispute over neighbors leaving food on the sidewalk for animals. One neighbor struck a victim in the shoulder. The suspect who lives in Hayward and on Tiffany, was cited for battery. Case # /16/07 8:10 am First block of Heritage Officers Joseph Toomey and Richard Morgante went to a residence on the first block of Heritage where a 16 year old boy was out of control after a dispute with his mother over smoking marijuana. The officers arrested the boy after a struggle and took him to the Youth Guidance Center for malicious mischief, minor beyond parental control and resisting arrest. Case # /16/07 11:30 am Mission and Santa Rosa Officer Jennifer Marino stopped a vehicle for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The driver, who lives on the 700 block of Moscow, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1989 Nissan was towed. Case # /16/07 12:15 pm 700 block of Teresita Officer Amy Hurwitz and other officers went to a residence on the 700 block of Teresita and arrested a resident for being under the influence of drugs and possessing narcotics paraphernalia. Case # /16/07 3:00 pm 1200 block of Alemany San Francisco Police Department Narcotics officers went to a residence on the 1200 block of Alemany and arrested a resident there for possession of suspected methamphetamine. Case # /16/07 3:10 pm 500 block of Alemany Officers Chad Campos and Victor Hui were on patrol when they observed a suspicious vehicle. When they went to investigate they found the man loitering about the vehicle was on parole. A search of the area within his control revealed suspected heroin and stolen property that had been taken in a recent burglary. The suspect, who lives on Shotwell, was arrested on a number of charges. Case # /16/07 5:00 pm 200 block of Sawyer Officers Christopher Porter and Richmond Curry went to a residence on Sawyer where neighbors stated that a suspect nearby had poured green paint 7

8 on cars in the area. The officers located the suspect, who lives on the 500 block of Leland, and arrested him for malicious mischief. Case # /16/07 6:12 pm 900 block of Geneva A teenage girl and her two brothers boarded a muni bus at Visitacion and Schwerin. A few minutes later a large group of juveniles boarded the bus with a number of males wedging themselves between the brothers and their sister. As the bus approached Geneva and Mission, one of the large group remarked to the girl that she had a nice cell phone. The suspect then ripped the cell phone from the victim's hand and quickly exited the bus with his friends. The brothers left the bus too, following the group to London Street but the victim's brothers decided not to confront the suspects for fear of being beaten. The police were called with Officers Ann Gamboa, Kevin Horan, Jason Gallagher, Christopher Morris, Anthony Ravao, Robin Odum, Robert Kobold and other officers responding to the scene. Officers Gamboa and Ravano located the suspects on Amazon near London and took three into custody. The victim and witnesses positively identified the main suspect but were unable to identify his compatriots. The suspect, who lives in Hayward, was arrested for robbery. We would prefer to solve problems rather then continuing to respond to 911 or calls over and over again. We are currently working on numerous drug houses and code abatement projects. ARRESTS: 07/17/07 4:00 am 900 block of Brussels Officers Robert Toomey and Chris Anderson went to the 900 block of Brussels where a boyfriend had come home drunk and awakened a woman and then started punching her about the face. The suspect fled the premises before the officers arrived. When the officers checked on the suspect, they determined that he used an alias. They checked the Department of Motor Vehicles records and located an address for the suspect on the first block of Cameron Way. The officers asked Bayview officers to respond to Cameron Way where the officers arrested the suspect for domestic violence. Case # /17/07 6:33 am Bryant and Precita Officers Joseph Toomey and William McCarthy stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Ripley, was driving with a suspended license and had an arrest warrant from the 10

11 City of Colma for felony theft. Case # /17/07 10:00 am 4800 block of Mission Officers Jennifer Marino and Michael Walsh responded to a fight between two teenage girls and then an intervention by the mother of one of the combatants. One of the girls struck her mother several times. The officers arrested the girl, a resident of Vallejo, for assault. Case # /17/07 11:30 am Cotter and Alemany Officer Jude Rand stopped a vehicle during a pedestrian "sting" for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Amber, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1993 Chevrolet was towed. Case # /17/07 11:40 am Hall of Justice Officer Mike Peregoy upon the direction of an Assistant District Attorney, arrested two witnesses in a case for perjury after they admitted to lying during a court proceeding. The suspects reside on the 300 block of Eddy. Case # /17/07 1:00 pm Cotter and Alemany Officer Chris Porter stopped a vehicle for failing to yield to a pedestrian. The driver, who lives in Daly City, was driving with a suspended license and was uninsured. He was cited and his 1981 BMW was towed. Case # /17/07 1:20 pm 3300 block of Mission Officers Kevin Brugaletta and Amy Hurwitz chased down a shoplifter from a local store on the 3300 block of Mission. They cited the resident of the 100 block of Ellsworth for theft. Case # /17/07 2:01 pm Santos and Velasco Officer Val Altamirano stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on the first block of Blythdale, was unlicensed and uninsured. She was cited and her 1988 Toyota was towed. 12 on a verbal argument on the street. A warrant check revealed that one suspect, who has no permanent local address, was wanted on a no bail parolee at large warrant. Case # /17/07 2:26 pm 4600 block of Mission Officer Mike Murphy saw a shopowner struggling with a shoplifter. The officer arrested the resident of the 400 block of Vernon and cited him for theft as well as for graffiti offenses. Case # /17/07 5:50 pm Britton and Visitacion Officer Angus Chambers stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 100 block of Florentine, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1973 Chevrolet was towed. Case # /17/07 6:30 pm First block of Liebig Officers Wayman Young, Eric Reboli, Matt Sullivan and Tyler Ropelato went to an address on the first block of Liebig where a man had struck a woman repeatedly after an argument over infidelity. The suspect was arrested for domestic violence and a no bail arrest warrant for elder abuse. Case # /17/07 8:45 pm Mission and Randall Officer Tyler Ropelato stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on the 200 block of Mt. Vernon, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1991 Toyota was towed. Case # /17/07 9:34 pm 600 block of Monterey Officers Ariana Daggett, Rommel Baldovino and Peterkent DeJesus went to the 600 block of Monterey where two men in a domestic situation had been fighting. The officers arrested one of the residents for false imprisonment and assault. Case # /17/07 11:53 pm 3350 Mission Officer Rommel Baldovino stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. Numerous street robberies are perpetrated in Visitacion Valley by 14

15 gang of predators. Police patrols will be increased in the Valley immediately. ARRESTS: 07/18/07 12:05 am 3400 block of Mission An employee of an establishment on the 3400 block of Mission got into an altercation with an inebriated person. The person struck the victim and then fled on foot on Mission Street. Officers Danielle Weidman, Liza Johansen, Kevin Horan and Christopher Leong located the suspect at 30th and Mission. The suspect, who lives in Healdsburg, was cited for battery. Case # /18/07 12:43 am 600 block of Hearst Officers Eric Reboli and Craig Tiffe went to an address on the 600 block of Hearst where a boyfriend had left a score of threatening messages on his girlfriend's telephone message machine and then set some of her clothes on fire in the driveway. The officers arrested the suspect for arson. Case # /18/07 1:20 am 3100 block of Mission Officers Kevin Lundy and Rommel Mallorca responded to a tavern where a man had assaulted his girlfriend. The officers arrested a resident of Chumasero Drive for assault. Case # /18/07 8:44 am Maynard and Congdon Officer Jude Rand stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 400 block of Munich, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 2000 Ford was towed. Case # /18/07 9:25 am 100 block of Tucker Officers Raul Mendieta, Ben Santana and Ivan Chavez went to the 100 block of Tucker and met with Daly City Police Department detectives who were investigating an auto theft case. They had a suspect in custody who had stolen a vehicle and was in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The officers arrested a resident of the 600 block of Silliman on two charges. 15

16 Case # /18/07 3:21 pm Sunnydale and Britton Officers Amy Hurwitz and William Tam stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. The driver, who lives on the 800 block of Excelsior, was cited and her 1998 Chevrolet was towed. Case # /18/07 6:00 pm Ney and Congdon Officers Kevin Horan and Darren Wong responded to a road rage accident and determined that a resident of the 1000 block of Haight, had used his vehicle as a battering ram against the victim's vehicle. The suspect was arrested for felony assault, drunk driving, driving with a suspended license and driving uninsured. Case # /18/07 6:10 pm 500 block of Mt. Vernon Sgt. Michelle Jean and Officers Richard Trujillo, Mitchell Campbell, Andy Cox, Joan Cronin, Kevin Healy, Rich Morgante, Ann Gamboa, Michael Murphy, Vincent Pedrini and Nicholas Suslow were conducting a robbery decoy operation in the Balboa Bart area due to the high number of street robberies. During an intensive surveillance, a suspect began to stalk the decoy officer who was dressed as an old man. The suspect then, on the 500 block of Mt. Vernon, grabbed money from the decoy officer and pushed him into a pole causing an abrasion to the officer's forehead. Sgt. Jean and Officer Campbell captured the suspect and arrested him for robbery. The suspect, who lives on the 700 block of Brussels, has numerous felony arrests and is on probation until 2009 for felony assault. Case # /18/07 9:55 pm Rutland and Teddy Officer Robert Toomey was searching the area of Rutland and Teddy on an unrelated robbery case when he spotted a possible suspect. A search of the resident of the first block of Tucker revealed suspected cocaine and marijuana. Case # /18/07 Midnight 30th and Mission Officers Shawn Phillips and Angus Chambers stopped a suspicious vehicle. When contacting the driver, they determined that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. Two suspects, who live in Fairfield and on Cameron Way, were arrested for firearms charges. Case #

Young Lane San Francisco, Ca Telephone The Ingleside Police Station personnel lead the City in numerous categories. The most recent statistics have been released by the SFPD Graffiti Unit which shows that from January 1 to date 134 arrests have been made citywide for graffiti offenses. 32 of those have been by Ingleside Station officers. There are ten police stations in San Francisco. 2. A consulting group called Public Safety Strategies has been hired to conduct a comprehensive analysis of police district boundaries and of police foot beats. Community organization leaders in the Ingleside District may be contacted by representatives of Public Safety Strategies for comment on these issues. 3. Case # /19/07 11:00 am 2300 block of San Jose Officer Herb Najarro located an inebriated suspect on the muni train tracks and arrested the resident of the 1000 block of Polk for drunk and a misdemeanor warrant. Case # /19/07 11:30 am Highway 101 and Alemany Officer Oscar Padilla stopped a vehicle for an unsafe turn. The driver, who lives on the 1300 block of Hyde, was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and her 2004 Jeep was towed. Case # /19/07 2:11 pm Sunnydale and Schwerin Officer Kathy Pubill was approached in the Sunnydale and Schwerin area by a witness who had said a lone middleaged man had been set upon by a group of predators and struck about the face. Officers Anthony Larocca, Ignacio 20

21 Martinez, Oscar Padilla and Kirk Yin were in the area and detained two suspects who were on a nearby muni bus. Another suspect took off running and was chased by Officer Pubill. While the suspect was running he appeared to be concealing a firearm. The suspect was located by Officers Yin and Padilla on the 100 block of Talbert. A witness directed the officers to a loaded firearm near where the suspect was captured. After the suspect, who lives on the 300 block of Harkness, was arrested, he threatened to kill Officer LaRocca. Subsequently, the suspect admitted to Gang Task Force Officers Daniel Silver and Melonee Alvarez, that the firearm had been carried by him and discarded by him. The suspect, who has a prior arrest for carrying a loaded firearm in public, was arrested on a multitude of charges. Case # /19/07 4:18 pm Rutland and Tucker Officer Val Altamirano stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 1500 block of Newhall, was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and her 1989 Toyota was towed. Case # /19/07 7:00 pm 300 block of Teddy A victim came to Ingleside Station to report that her ex-boyfriend had repeatedly beaten her and that now he was threatening to kill her and she feared for her life. Officers Craig Tiffe and Eric Reboli went to the 300 block of Teddy and were told by a new girlfriend that the suspect was not there. However, the officers found the suspect hiding in a shower. The suspect was arrested on felony charges and a warrant for driving with a suspended license. Case # /19/07 8:25 pm 100 block of Britton Officers Chris Anderson and Robert Toomey were on foot patrol on the 100 block of Britton due to numerous complaints from the community of drug dealers, armed thugs and gang loiterers terrorizing residents and visitors. Under the direction of Sgt. Eli Turner, Officers Anderson and Toomey were to deter the criminal elements. The officers spotted a large group of miscreants loitering. One of the protagonists, a notorious gang member, who has a stayaway order from the area, saw the officers and took off running. He hopped onto a trunk of a car, climbed various fences and was finally captured with the assistance of Officer Kevin Horan. The suspect, who lives on Nueva, was arrested on a number of charges. 22 Officer Rommel Mallorca stopped a vehicle for equipment violations. The driver, who lives on Flora, was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and her 2005 Toyota was towed. Case # /20/07 3:51 pm Persia and Naples Officer Amy Hurwitz and Sgt. Michelle Jean stopped a vehicle that was being driven erratically. When they made contact with the driver, he was obviously under the influence of drugs. The resident of Daly City failed field sobriety tests, was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and other paraphernalia. He was arrested on a number of charges and his 1989 Saab was towed. Case # /20/07 8:30 pm 400 block of Holladay Officers Salvador Perez and Anthony Ravano investigated a traffic accident where the parties were having difficulty exchanging information. One of the parties, who lives on the 1200 block of York, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1991 Mazda was towed. Case # /20/07 10:03 pm Garrison and Schwerin Officers Kevin Chin and Leonard Morrow observed a vehicle fail to heed to a stop sign.
