1 May 10, 2008 ARRESTS: 05/10/08 11:00 am 800 block of Irving Officer James Nguyen went to a store on the 800 block of Irving where an employee was drunk and abusive. The officer arrested the resident of the 500 block of 46th Avenue for drunk and a misdemeanor warrant. Case # /10/08 2:00 pm Sunset and Pacheco Officer Gregory Pak stopped a vehicle for a registration violation. The driver, who lives on the 1200 block of 31st Avenue, was uninsured and was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and her 1990 Ford was towed. Case # /10/08 6:00 pm 1200 block of 44th Avenue Officers Christopher Servat and Erick Leung went to an address and arrested the local resident for a warrant for drunk driving. Case # /10/08 7:07 pm 3200 block of 20th Avenue Officers Buddy Siguido and Tri Hoang went to Stonestown where security had detained a number of juveniles who were fighting. The residents of the 600 block of Alemany, 400 block of Arlington, 100 block of 19th Avenue and first block of Brookdale, were all admonished. The driver, who lives on the 1400 block of Sutter, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 2003 Toyota was towed. Case # /11/08 4:15 am 3800 block of Alemany Officers Francisco Perez and Justin Erb responded to a report of a man sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle. They located the man behind the wheel in a traffic lane with the engine running. The driver was intoxicated, failed field and chemical tests, and was arrested for drunk driving. He resides on Baden. 3 05/11/08 3:15 pm 3200 block of 20th Avenue Officers Gregory Pak and David Wong went to Macy's where a suspect had shoplifted clothing items. The suspect, who has no permanent local address, was arrested for burglary, possession of burglar tools, narcotics paraphernalia, and a warrant for his arrest for burglary. Case # /11/08 5:38 pm Plymouth and Broad Officers Justin Quintero and Scott Biggs observed a suspicious loiterer at a bus stop but when buses came by he did not get on a bus. The officers then observed the suspect holding a razar blade. The officers stopped to investigate and located suspected cocaine and narcotics paraphernalia on the suspect. The resident of the 100 block of Broad was arrested. Case # /11/08 6:49 pm 300 block of Eucalytpus A young woman left Stonestown and was surrounded by a number of juveniles, knocked to the ground and then they took her purse. Numerous officers responded including Officers Matthew Friedman, Thomas Chu, Yukio Oshita and Antonio Cacatian. The victim was unable to identify a number of people who were detained nearby by the officers. One suspect, who lives on the 1500 block of Underwood, was arrested for false identification and delaying an investigation. Case # /11/08 8:20 pm 900 block of Plymouth Officers Christopher Servat and Erick Leung went to an address on the 900 block of Plymouth where a drunken husband had beaten his wife and destroyed cell phones when she tried to call the police. The suspect was arrested on five charges. Case # /11/08 9:45 pm 15th Avenue and Irving Officers Robin Odum and Carla Lee stopped a suspicious person. The suspect, who lives on the 600 block of Mission, was wanted on two no bail warrants for possession of drugs. Case # /11/08 10:40 pm 9th Avenue and Ortega Officer Antonio Cacatian stopped a vehicle for a license plate violation. The driver, who lives on the 1700 block of 11th Avenue, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 2004 Subaru was towed. Case # /11/08 11:00 pm Sagamore and Plymouth Officers Justin Quintero and Scott Biggs observed a man loitering at a gas station. They stopped to investigate and found the man, who lives in South San Francisco, was in possession of cocaine and paraphernalia. Case #

5 ARRESTS: 05/12/08 1:45 am 100 block of Sadowa Officer Robert Hamblen stopped a driver for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on the 300 block of Garfield, was driving with a suspended license. She was cited and her 1999 Izuzu was towed. Case # /12/08 2:10 am 19th Avenue and Noriega Officer Dean Lee stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on the 1000 block of Santiago, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1999 Mercury was towed. Case # /12/08 3:44 pm 3200 block of 20th Avenue Officer Richard Soares and Aaron Lozada went to Macy's and cited two shoplifters from the 1200 block of Florida and the 1100 block of Monterey for theft and possession of a knife. Case # /12/08 6:00 pm 100 block of Broad Officers Duane Elzey and Juan Gala observed a wanted person in a vehicle. They arerested the suspect, who has no permanent local address, for a no bail warrant for a probation and domestic violence case from Santa Clara County. Case # /12/08 6:35 pm Lake Merced and Font Officers Joe Chang and Joshua Enea observed a suspect with a marking pen committing a graffiti offense on a sign. The resident of the 1700 block of McAllister Street was cited for malicious mischief. Case # /12/08 10:06 pm Brotherhood and Lake Merced Officer Matthew Friedman stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver, who lives on Peninsula, was cited and his vehicle, a 2000 Ford, was towed, as he was unlicensed. 7 1400 block of 48th Avenue Mental Detention May 13, 2008 Commanding Officer th Av San Francisco, Ca Telephone (415) ARRESTS: 05/13/08 9:40 am 24th Avenue and Taraval Officer Neil Fanene stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 400 block of Turk, was driving with a suspended license and was uninsured. He was cited and his 1972 Cadillac was towed. Case # /13/08 3:30 pm 2100 block of 24th Avenue Officer Thomas Lovrin admonished a Lincoln High School student for bringing a knife to school. The child lives on the 1200 block of 41st Avenue. Case # /13/08 7:04 pm Orizaba and Randolph Officers Thomas Chu and Matthew Friedman stopped a person who was urinating in public. The suspect, who lives on the 200 block of Farallones, was in possession of a concealed knife. He was cited. Case # /13/08 8:11 pm 1800 block of 30th Avenue Officers Esther Gonzalez and Patrice Scanlan responded to a fight. When they arrived one of the participants was belligerent and agitated. A search revealed a concealed knife, a fraudulent Canadian identification card and a stolen driver license. The suspect, who has no permanent local address, was charged with various offenses. Steve Quon at ARRESTS: 05/07/08 2:40 pm 1800 block of 21st Avenue In response to neighborhood complaints, members of the San Francisco Police Department Vice Division conducted an operation and arrested a resident of Fremont for soliciting an act of prostitution to an undercover police officer. 10 05/14/08 4:00 pm Plymouth and Montana Officer Kevin O'Leary stopped a vehicle for a license plate violation. The driver, who lives on the 200 block of Montana, was driving with a suspended license. He was cited and his 1989 Pontiac was towed. Case # /14/08 6:35 pm Vicente and West Portal Lt. John Feeney warned a panhandler who was aggressively soliciting money adjacent to an ATM machine. When the suspect persisted despite the warnings, Officers Gregory Pak and David Wong cited the resident of Daly City. Case # /14/08 10:32 pm 300 block of Arballo A few days ago a suspect accompanied by another entered a residence on Chumasero and was in the process of burglarizing a unit when the victim returned home. The suspect and victim became engaged in a struggle and the suspect escaped with the victim's property. Officers Scott Biggs, Yukio Oshita, Justin Quintero, Antonio Cacatian and Tigran Antonian went to an address on Arballo after the victim had positively identified a photograph of the suspect. Inspector Raj Vaswani of the Burglary Detail had investigated the case and assisted in working with the victim. The officers located the suspect and arrested him for robbery and burglary. The officers conducted an investigation and located heroin and other narcotics. A resident of the 600 block of Capitol was arrested for various offenses. Case # /15/08 12:45 pm 1700 block of Irving Officers Erik Leung and Christopher Servat went to Jefferson Elementary and arrested a Giannini Middle School student who lives on the 1400 block of 31st Avenue for stealing various items from the elementary school. ARRESTS: 05/16/08 11:45 am 1900 block of 41st Avenue Officer Arline Gilmore arrested a resident of the 1400 block of 31st Avenue who had stolen money and other items from 12 students at Sunset Elementary School. Case # /16/08 12:30 pm th Avenue Officer Jennifer Granucci, School Resource Officer at Hoover Middle School, cited two students, residents of the 2400 block of Mariposa and the 300 block of West Portal for assault for firing BB guns at other students. Case # /16/08 12:41 pm 200 block of Winston Officers Erik Leung and Christopher Servat went to Nordstrom and arrested a resident of Half Moon Bay for grand theft and burglary for a repetitive shoplifting episode. Case # /16/08 7:50 pm Irving and 45th Avenue Officer Leroy Thomas stopped a driver for a stop sign violation. The driver, who lives on the 1500 block of Hayes, was unlicensed. He was cited and his 1997 Mercury was towed. Case # /16/08 8:57 pm 31st Avenue and Quintara A victim and a witness looked outside and saw a number of suspects inside and outside of her vehicle. She did not know the suspects and gave no one permission to enter her vehicle. The victim yelled at the suspects, at which time they jumped into a vehicle and drove away. The victim memorized the license number and called the police. Officers Darren Wong, Christina Pena, Benny Lew, Christopher Servat, Erik Leung, Inspector Milanda Moore and Sgt. Robert Bohanan responded to the crime. Officers Lew and Servat located the owner of the vehicle on the 2400 block of 30th Avenue. The owner was positively identified as 13

14 one of the suspects in the victim's vehicle. Other persons were detained by the officers but the victim and witness could not positively identify them. The suspect, who lives on 30th Avenue, was arrested for burglary.
