2 31 st International Systems Safety Conference Conference Sponsor & Exhibitor Invitation The International System Safety Society is pleased to invite sponsors and exhibitors to join the premier international conference supporting the safety professional in the application of systems engineering and management to the process of hazard, safety, and risk analysis for the development of systems, products, and services. The sponsor and exhibitor Exhibition is an integral part of the conference with the intention to provide up to-date information on system safety methodologies, tools, and industries involved in system safety practices. Conference Theme/Topics The theme for this year s conference is Safety for the Long Run. The theme picks up on a number of parallels between the types of things one might do to prepare for a marathon run, and the elements of an effective system safety program. These include the importance of proper training, having a well thought out plan, getting off to a good start, avoiding obstacles and distractions, and keeping enough in reserve for a successful sprint to the finish. The goal of this conference is to bring practitioners and the foremost thinkers within the system safety discipline together to exchange ideas, knowledge, experiences and best practices. Date/Location The downtown Boston Marriott Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts, will be our venue for the August , ISSS conference. The Marriott at Copley Square, located in the heart of the city, is a short stroll to historic sites and cultural attractions as well as many restaurants. Copley Square hosts the finish line for the Boston Marathon, the inspiration for the conference theme. 3 Exhibitor and Premier Sponsorship Packages There are three levels of sponsorship: Corporate, Gold, and Silver level sponsors. Corporate Sponsorship for the 31 st International System Safety Conference is $25, Corporate Sponsorship includes: Exhibitor booth with first choice of location, a full page add in the conference program, Corporate logo and link on the conference website, one year of corporate membership to The International System Safety Society, ten copies of the conference proceedings and includes ten free attendee registrations to the 31 st International System Safety Conference. Gold Sponsorship for the 31 st International System Safety Conference is $3500 for current society corporate members and $4000 for new sponsors. Gold Sponsorship includes: Exhibitor booth, a full page add in the conference program, Corporate logo and link on the conference website, one year of corporate membership to The International System Safety Society, two copies of the conference proceedings, two free attendee registrations to the 31 st International System Safety Conference and includes a 20% discount on three additional attendee registrations. Silver Sponsorship for the 31 st International System Safety Conference is $ for current society corporate members and $ for new sponsors. Silver Sponsorship includes: Exhibitor booth, a half page add in the conference program, Corporate logo and link on the conference website, one copy of the conference proceedings, one free attendee registrations to the 31 st International System Safety Conference and includes a 15% discount on three additional attendee registrations.
