2 WELCOME TO OUR JOINT CONFERENCE SHUKALB and SHUKOS invite you to join us at our 2 nd Balkans Joint Annual Conference and Exhibition to be held in Tirana, Albania, on 5-7 November 2014, at the Tirana International Hotel. The Conference Theme: Water and Energy, highlights the important inter-dependence that the water supply and wastewater services sector must address, if it is to control costs and meet the objective of a sustainable water environment. Paralleling the Conference, the Organizing Committee has planned another large Exhibition area with participation from broad array of private sector companies that offer products, technologies and services to the water sector. Building upon the extraordinary success of last year's 1 st Balkans Joint Annual Conference, which attracted an audience of over 450 participants from the Greater Balkan region and beyond, the Conference presents an excellent opportunity to network and share knowledge with a wide range of professionals and service delivery practitioners. Water professionals, policymakers, and business people from the sector can gather and discuss issues of concern, exchange information, and share experiences in an effort to help the further development of the water supply and wastewater sector in the Greater Balkan region. 3 TECHNICAL EXHIBITION Utilities cannot deliver high quality water supply and sewerage services without the proper equipments, technologies, software and chemicals provided by private companies that are engaged in the water sector. Moreover, our past events have taught us that participation of exhibitor companies greatly enriches the experience of Conference attendees through presenting to them the latest products and services, and by taking part on the Conference program and discussions. On their side, exhibitors have the opportunity to directly attract potential customers. As such, the event welcomes companies from around the world to show their products and services, and join the discussions on current issues in the water supply and sewerage sector. REGISTRATION TO EXHIBITION Exhibition booth area can be purchased on a square meter basis at the following rates: Booth area SHUKALB/SHUKOS member * SHUKALB/SHUKOS nonmember 6 m² booth 100 EUR/m² 150 EUR/m² * Note: This price is applicable to companies that have joined SHUKALB/SHUKOS as a member, before The purchase of an Exhibition booth space includes: Display of company name and logo on the Company s booth Display of company logo in the Conference website (exhibitors page) Free Conference Registrations for two company representatives Lunch and coffees for 2 days (6 and 7 November 2014) for two participants Free entry to the Gala Reception (5 November 2014) Free entry to the Social Event (6 November 2014) Exhibitor Registration Form Companies and organizations interested in exhibiting at the Balkans Joint Annual Conference and Exhibition will find the Registration Form attached to this announcement. They can also download the Registration Form from the Conference website. After filling the form in please return by or scan to info@balkansjointconf.org Exhibitor Registration Deadline The deadline for purchasing an exhibit space is 10 October Please note that space preferences will be confirmed on a first come, first serve basis. Once an exhibit space has been confirmed, an exhibitor must make payment within 10 days of exhibit space confirmation to guarantee space assignment at the Exhibition. Bank transfer information is provided inside the Exhibitor Registration Form.

4 EXHIBITION AREA LAYOUT The Exhibition Area is organized in booths of 6m 2. You can always download the most updated Layout by visiting the Conference Webpage

5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Furnished Exhibit Space Exhibit spaces will be furnished with side dividers and back panel for displaying signage or displays that can be adhered to the panel. A printed company name sign and logo will be provided along with a table, two chairs and a garbage bin. Also, normal electrical power ( V) for lighting level service will be in place. Set-up and Removal of Exhibit Displays All exhibitors are asked to set up their displays during the late morning/early afternoon of the first day of the Exhibition, 5 November, starting no earlier than 11:00 am, and to be completed with display set up by 17:00 pm. All exhibitor companies are asked to remove their displays by no later than 4:30 pm on the last day of the Exhibition on 7 November Names and Logo Please make sure to send along with the Exhibition Registration Form the logo of your company in AI, EPS or PDF format. The company logo will be displayed on the company s booth and website of the Conference and Exhibition. Venue of the Exhibition The Exhibition will take place in Tirana, Albania, at Tirana International Hotel. The hotel is located in the center of the city and 21km far from the airport. Hotel Accommodation For conference participants special rates have been arranged at Tirana International Hotel. Also, a list of other hotels, with respective prices, contacts and distance from the event is available under the Hotel Accommodation section of the Conference website.
