2 Florida Association for Speech- Language Pathologists and Audiologists Write 8815 Conroy-Windermere Road Suite # 283 Orlando, Florida Talk Visit Convention Location The Florida Association of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists (FLA- SHA) 2017 Annual Convention will be held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort, 475 Seagate Drive, Naples, Florida This year s event is expected to be bigger and better than ever! For the first time in recent years, we have moved our convention dates from late May to July to accommodate more partipants. Additionally, we are excited to announce that the nationally recognized speaker on Autism, and best-selling author, Dr. Temple Grandin will headline our convention. Attendee Profile Your company will have the opportunity to meet with and market your product or service to over 650 Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists from the State of Florida and many other states. This year s event will be bigger and better than before! For the first time in recent years, we have moved our convention to July to accommodate more participants! Exhibit Booth Fees Exhibiting at the 2018 Annual Convention will allow your company to build relationships with Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists from Florida and many other states as well. Based on previous exhibitor feedback, we have drastically lowered our exhibit booth fees for 2018: First Table $ Additional 6 Table $ Display Table: $ Representative CEU Fee: $ The Display Table is available for company literature with no on-site representative. The Exhibit Fee includes the following: One 6-foot skirted table with two chairs and name badges for two representatives. Up to two box lunch tickets will also be included, along with recognition in the Annual Convention on-site program, and mobile app. A hard copy PDF list of pre-registered attendees will be distributed onsite, followed by an updated PDF list of attendees (including those who registered onsite) following the Convention. FLASHA is obligated by law to ask attendees if they wish to opt out of publishing their names and contact information for exhibitors. Exhibitors will receive only the contact information of those attendees who do NOT opt out. Payment: Full payment is required with your signed application/contract to reserve your exhibit space. Telephone requests will not secure or hold your space. Please make checks payable to FLASHA. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are also accepted.

3 Cancellation: All cancellations must be submitted in writing to the FLASHA Exhibits Coordinator, who will forward the request to the Convention Committee for approval. There will be a $75.00 administrative fee assessed for all cancellations received by June 1, No refund for exhibit space will be made after June 1, 2018, and any cancelled space can be resold or reassigned by FLASHA. Booth assignment: Booths are assigned by FLASHA staff. Booth placement is determined by the level of sponsorship, the date the exhibitor contract was submitted, electrical needs, and, if possible, separation of direct competitors. Additional booth representative registration: The standard exhibit fee includes badges for two company representatives. Additional badges for non- credit seeking booth reps can be purchased for an additional $50. Those company reps who would like to earn credit for attending the sessions may register for the Convention at the discounted rate of $200. Questions? Important Dates MARCH 31, 2017 Deadline for reserving space/payment in the Convention on-site program June 24, 2018 Deadline for FLASHA discounted hotel room rate After this date, rooms can still be reserved at the discounted FLASHA rate of $119-$179/ night + tax on space and rate availability only. June 1, 2018 Deadline for cancellations and refunds Requests for cancellation refunds must be made in writing. There will be a $75.00 administrative fee assessed for all cancellations received by this date. NO refunds will be made for cancellations after June 1, 2018.

4 Exhibit Hall Grand Opening The Grand Opening of the Exhibit Hall will take place at 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 26. There will be food provided, and each attendee and exhibitor will receive a drink ticket for the cash bar. It will be a very lively event that will kick off the entire Convention! Be ready for dedicated face-to-face time with the attendees! Bingo Cards Each attendee will be given a bingo card in his/her registration packet. Each exhibitor s company name will be listed on the bingo card, and attendees are encouraged to get their card signed by each exhibitor to enter to win a prize at the final refreshment break. This is a great way to encourage our attendees to visit each and every exhibitor in the exhibit hall! If you would like to donate a door prize to be given away at the boxed lunch, please drop it off at the FLASHA registration desk no later than 12:45 pm on Saturday, July 28.. Exhibitor Breakfast Coffee will be provided to attendees each morning in the exhibit hall. On Saturday, July 28, at 7:30 am, Coffee & Muffins will be served in the exhibit hall. This event, widely known as the breakfast worth getting up for, is to thank you and your organization for being such a vital part of the Convention and the Association as a whole! On-Site Convention Program Exhibitors are invited to advertise in the 2018 on-site Convention program, which will be distributed to each exhibitor in their welcome packets. More than 600 attendees will receive this printed full-color, 8.5 x 11 program, which will also be available electronically on the Convention website. All advertising must be received by April 31, All graphics must be high-resolution jpeg, eps or pdf files. Advertising options and rates are included in the Exhibitor Prospectus. Mobile App Sponsorship Back by popular demand is the FLASHA Mobile App, with FLASHA website integration. Access up-to-the-minute schedule updates, speaker handouts, exhibitor information, area attractions, and much, much, more! Look out for the mobile app launch before the Convention for instructions on how to download. The mobile app is also a great opportunity to get your company s name into the hands (literally) of the Convention attendees. The average person looks at their cell phone 150 times per day make your company s logo the first thing they see! Electrical & Internet Services You can purchase electrical and internet services for your exhibit booth through the hotel. All electrical, internet and shipping charges are at the exhibiting company s expense. Order forms will be ed to you with your exhibitor confirmation letter, and are also available on the Convention website under the exhibitors & sponsors tab. Eligibility to Exhibit The exhibitors are vital to the continuing education program of FLASHA. FLASHA reserves the right to determine eligibility of any company wishing to exhibit. The acceptance of a product or service for exhibit does not constitute an endorsement by FLASHA. FLASHA may deny or revoke eligibility based on violation of any policy set forth in the exhibit terms and conditions or for any action determined to detract from the character of the exhibition. Spirit Day & Praxis Bowl Saturday is SPIRIT DAY atthe FLASHA Annual Convention! Don your university s colors during the day and show your support! In the evening, come to cheer on your favorite university at the ever-popular Praxis Bowl! This game show event will put students knowledge to the test, and prepare them for the Praxis exam. This event will take place on Saturday, July 28th, at 6:00 pm (time and date subject to change). Refreshments will be provided.
