1 2018 SPRING CONFERENCE & EXPO Sunday, March 18 Tuesday, March 20 Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort Mt Pleasant, MI January 5, 2018 Dear Supplier: You are cordially invited to participate in the 2018 Spring Conference & Expo hosted by the Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds of Michigan (ARVC Michigan). This year s program will be held at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt Pleasant, MI, from March 18-20, ARVC Michigan is the only association in Michigan that is solely dedicated to representing campgrounds. We average about 95 to 100 attendees representing campgrounds that attend our Spring Conference. Our goal is to continue improving our program in order to increase the size of our expo and the number of attendees. We will be offering an Expo-Only Discount again this year, so I am asking you to consider special pricing specifically for attendees of our 2018 program. As always, we want our supplier members to have a very successful experience, whether it is drumming up new business or continue building your existing supplier/campground relationships. In order to exhibit at the 2018 Spring Expo you must join the Association as a Supplier member. The supplier membership dues are $150 per year and the membership year runs from January 1 through December 31. The Early-Bird pricing is available now until Friday, February 2 at 5:00 p.m. Secure your booth and location early at a discounted price. Please review the registration form for more information regarding pricing. The Expo will open on Monday, March 19, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will re-open Tuesday, March 20, at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. (Please do NOT tear down your booths early) We have limited space so be sure to submit your registration as early as possible in order to secure your participation in this year s convention. Buyer s Guide Your company information will be included in the 2018 Buyer s Guide. This guide will be mailed to all ARVC Michigan campground members in May Complimentary Advertising Your company will receive one (1) 1 H x 4 W ad in one of the three issues of The Messenger, our association newsletter, of your choice. Issues are published in February, May and October. The newsletter is sent to more than 400 member and nonmember campgrounds. Upon request, we will you an Excel spreadsheet of our current campground members. This list will include the campground name, owner/manager name and mailing address. Please note: addresses and phone numbers will be included if the campground owner/manager has authorized the Association to share this information. For $15, we will print labels and mail them to you. SUPPLIER PROGRAM Our success is your success! With your help we want to continue making this a very successful program for you and our campground members. We will do everything we can to get our campground owners and operators to you, so if you have any suggestions, ideas or comments please let us know. Your partnership is very important to us. Live Auction Supplier members who donate a live auction item valued over $200 will be entered into a drawing to win a complimentary initial booth for the 2019 Spring Conference & Expo (Value over $200). {A supplier member who donates an item under $200 will be entered into a drawing to win 1/2 off their annual supplier dues for 2019($75 value). } Convention Bag Advertising For a minimal fee of $50, place up to a one-page (8.5 x 11 ) ad in the convention bags that are given to all campground attendees. This is a great opportunity to promote your product/services pre-expo grand opening. Expo-Only Discount Suppliers who offer an Expo-Only discount to conference and expo-only attendees will be highlighted in all pre-conference marketing materials and in the official conference program. 2

3 EXPO DETAILS All booths include pipe and drape, one skirted 24 x 6 table, two chairs and a small trash can. Each initial booth purchase includes dinner and lunch for two (2) representatives (Monday Dinner and Tuesday lunch). When your registration and payment is received you will be included in pre-program marketing materials. All registrations MUST be received no later than Friday, March 2, in order to be included in the conference & expo program and on signage. Each participant will receive badges that will include your name and company. Please contact ARVC Michigan headquarters if your list of attendees changes so staff can have appropriate badges printed prior to the start of the program. The deadline to reserve a room at the discounted rate is February 26. The Expo will be located in the Conference Center portion of the Resort, between the Hotel and Casino Floor. The Ballroom is on the main floor with easy access from the parking lot to the conference center entrance. We will provide you with more information as we get closer to the program.
