A decade ago, Fairchild hosted Chihuly s spectacular glass art, and hundreds of thousands of members and visitors as well as 60,000 school children were enthralled with his iconic glass sculptures displayed among our stunning landscapes. Chihuly at Fairchild will coincide with the opening of Art Basel on December 6, 2014, and will run through May 31, This exhibition will allow us to introduce new audiences of local, national and international visitors to our world-class plant collections as well as our exceptional programs in science education and conservation science.
