The executing agency that Page 1 of 7

2 is in charge of road safety issues in Argentina (ANSV) is doing a very good jobin advancing project activities, but also in leading collaboration and mentoring efforts under the Ibero- American umbrella. Strongsupport of the road safety agenda at high political levels (presidency and ministry of interior) has also been an important anchorfor advancing road safety initiatives under the project. The Project continues to progress well towards achieving its developmentobjectives with major achievements made to date especially on the institutional capacity building initiatives (launching ofnational Driver Licensing and Infraction systems), the Incentive Fund, and aspects of the National Road Safety Observatory system.the project is a high priority for the agency and has facilitated important collaboration efforts with the provinces,municipalities, NGOs, police, private sector, and other key stakeholders and practitioners to significantly advance the road safetyagenda in Argentina.
