Suffice t say the Maralinga tur is a great experience and wuld encurage all members t g if yu can. The ptins fr travelling there and back als ffer great adventure pprtunities. Reminder: Imprtant Changes t Club Meeting Dates A reminder f changes t meeting dates due t availability f rms. Please adjust yur diaries, but rest assu ed e ll u i ate these ha ges egula l e the e t uple f ths. The September Meeting will nw be held n Mnday 10 th September. The Octber Meeting (including the AGM) will nw be held n Wednesday 10 th Octber. 2018/2019 Membership Renewal The renewal prcess is nw well and truly underway with ver 50% f members nw renewed Well Dne. LRC 50 th Anniversary Our club turns 50 in September next year, the cmmittee has already cmmenced discussins abut what this ea s a d h e ill ele ate this g eat ilest e. If u ha e a ideas uesti s please d t hesitate t cntact myself r any f the cmmittee. Business as Usual Review The cmmittee cntinues t carry ut the review f the cnstitutin and the peratin f the Web. We expect t release the final draft f the Cnstitutin t all members n the 1 st September t allw a 30 day feedback perid prir t the AGM. Prgress is underway with enhancements t the Website. Members will see imprvement in the way trips are prcessed/managed in the next few weeks. Trip Calendar Ian will detail a key incentive that has been agreed by the Cmmittee t encurage members t run trips ver the next 12 mnths. This will be annunced at the August Ordinary Meeting.
