Versin 7 Sftware 6/25/2012 Terrain and Obstructin Highlighting Prvides detailed Terrain and Obstructin highlights fr the ultimate situatinal awareness while flying in muntainus r terrain/bstructin rich areas. Terrain Highlights are verlaid n all GPS mdes, Charts, Plates, Diagrams, etc with the exceptin f Weather Mde. There is als a new Vertical Prfile instrument with multiple sizes in the Custmize Instruments setup. By tuching this instrument, yu can access a full page view f the Vertical Prfile ahead with zm adjustments Yu can nw drag t a specific pint n the chart/screen and start a Simulatin frm that pint. As yu apprach the grund yu will see the terrain highlighting and receive audible alerts. Advanced Alerting System (Terrain, Obstructins, Traffic, Airspaces, etc) We ve added a new Active Alert windw ffering a smaller layut with active text reprting. Yu can select Mre fr additinal details. The Setting buttn is currently inactive. We ve als made imprvements t the Acknwledge functinality. A pilt can see the flight plan, instruments and has the ability t make split-secnd mdificatins n the ge-referenced apprach plate. Bth Plates and Diagrams supprt full rtatin fr maximum viewing further increasing the supplemental situatinal awareness the ifly GPS ffers fr bth VFR and IFR pilts. Ge-Referenced Plates and Diagrams are updated as part f the VFR & IFR Annual Data Subscriptin. The Ge-Referenced FAA Airprt Diagrams prvide additinal safety while navigating unfamiliar airprt taxiways. The ifly GPS database is pre-laded with ver 700 ge-referenced airprt diagrams. The new airprt diagrams will als be

4 updated as part f the VFR Annual Data Subscriptin. All VFR and IFR charts and diagrams are updated accrding t the FAA data cycle. ADS-B Weather Supprt The Versin 6 Sftware Update adds ADS-B Weather Supprt fr third party ADS-B devices. Pilts can nw see live NexRad radar, METARs, TAFs, Winds Alft and PIREPs. ADS-B prvides pilts with a n-cst weather feature if they have a third party ADS-B receiver like the SkyRadar by Radenna. This new weather mde ffers a simple layut with rute visuals, airprts, weather statins, and an interactive tuch feature t pull a weather reprt nearest t the pilt s tuch pint. The pilt can then select METAR, TAF, Winds Alft r PIREPS as they wish. In additin, pilts withut an ADS-B receiver will benefit frm an enhanced dwnladable weather feature called Pre-Flight Weather. This feature prvides an interactive map with graphical VFR/IFR visuals and allws fr tuch reprting f METARS, TAFs and Winds Alft. A user will cntinue t see current psitin, flight plan and instruments while viewing the weather mde. Enhanced Pre-Flight Weather Interactive graphical VFR/IFR Map, METARs, TAFs and Winds Alft.
