3 Cde fr Adventurers is ready t g. Website address: BIBLE ADVENTURE Debrah Gendke Debrah will be ing everyne the Bible Adventure manual. The Bible Adventure will start in 2015 with the bk f Matthew. There were tw ptins fr Bibles, New Internatinal Versin and Children s Internatinal Bible It will be bilingual There will be tw levels, area fllwed by cnference level. Tw weekends discussed were: February and March There were sme cncerns with March, since mst areas use the mnth f March fr area camps. Pssible change t December and January. Pastr Miranda apprves the change if it wuld wrk better fr everyne. Charge $5.00 per team participating. Teams wuld cnsist f tw t six participants. (Builder/Helping Hand classes) Clubs may have tw teams. Questins are multiple chice and true and false. Premade questin cards Sujata suggests we nt underestimate the kids and challenge them and pen the questins t fill in the blank and write answers. All participants need t be in Class A unifrms. Carried ADVENTURER UNIFORM DEADLINE Ada Gmez Dress A unifrm change needs t be implemented this year at AFC. SECURITY Lee Battn Lee Battn stated that the evacuatin went very well. There are plans fr mre educatin regarding disaster prcedures. We need better cmmunicatin with security. Camp clse t pnd area If we use the insurance cverage fr damages btained during ur last camp, it will cause ur insurance and individual church insurance t g up. Fee: $25.00 Registratin deadline will be Octber 1, After that time the price will increase t $45.00? Theme: Light Up The Wrld Registratin will be run by the cnference but ask t have a crdinatr frm each area t help ut at frnt gate. Alan will send an detailing each areas camp set up respnsibilities. 5 There was discussin n what t d with the supplies frm this past year s Sabbath Afternn activities. Lindy has left them at the cnference ffice. We can use them fr this year r distribute the supplies t each area fr the clubs that had paid attendance fr last year. Irma wuld like t receive the items. Mtin by Lisandra t nt use the same activity and supplies, since the clubs have already paid fr these supplies and activities. Supplies will be distributed t the crdinatrs t give t their clubs. Carried Sabbath Afternn Activities: Lisa Pillw Irma suggested a maze type game fr Sabbath afternn, where they wuld be given questins t mve n and at the end they receive a small trinket f sme kind. Marcela suggested a talent shw. They wuld need t register by a certain deadline. We culd have 3 5 kids per area, talent be 3 5 minutes. Give kids glw sticks, flashlights. Grups shuld be 5 r less? Irma asks that it nt be label Talent shw Saturday Night Activities: Lisa Pillw Parade will be held after vespers. Steve suggests that area crdinatrs assign clubs with a cuntry. 6 18 yrs. and under cannt drive the glf carts. If yu see this happening, yu as a crdinatr can ask them t stp. Yu als need t reprt the incident t Lee and Eric. Thse in charge f the glf carts need t keep better cntrl f the carts. If it has an area sign in it, that area shuld be allwed t have and keep that cart. Master Guides shuld nt be taking them withut permissin. Security fr vehicles: Lee Battn Stickers fr areas t place n their car windw t identify if they have registered. A scan cde they wuld receive after registering. Deadline t Send Infrmatin t Lisa The deadline f March 1, 2014 was chsen fr pastr/speaker suggestins and praise team. The deadline f July 1, 2014 was chsen fr incentive ideas and a rugh draft utline f each areas assigned activity. Secnd deadline shuld be Octber 1, 2014 fr all detailed prgrams. This wuld include the names f the clubs/children participating, and activities fr yur area. EMPOWER TRAINING: Ada Gmez Pastr Miranda wuld like t cmbine Dates by areas as was dne last year. HBA and Central - same weekend, DET and KFW same weekend, and then the Valley. Pastr Miranda wuld als like t ask that all ministries Empwer classes be held in the same city fr that area. Save ne hur fr safety training Lee Battn explained that it will be mandatry fr everyne t attend Empwer safety training. They will be teaching new prtcl and hw it shuld be carried ut. 7 MASTER GUIDE DEADLINE - Ada Gmez Pastr Miranda and Ada discussed the requirement fr all area crdinatrs t be a Master Guide and assciates shuld be wrking tward their Master Guide. If yu haven t been wrking n btaining this yu culd be asked t step dwn. Ada and Pastr Miranda are willing t wrk with and help thse wrking n their Master Guide t finish. Master Guide applicatin is fr the NAD data base t help keep up with all the Master Guides. When a Master Guide, if yu are in Adventurers, yu may wear the Adventurer unifrm. If they wrk in bth ministries they can wear either the green unifrm r the Adventurer blue unifrm. FOLLOW-UP Tuesday after Adventurer Cuncil Meeting, Ada tk a vte via fr tw items that were missing in the minutes, and the deadline fr Master Guide investitures as fllw, Crdinatr s training in San Antni - 4 areas in favr, 1 area against it.
