2 The Dovecote, a Grade II listed building nestled on the edge of Tackley, is a unique space in which to run your next training event, lecture, meeting or seminar. The building dates back to 1616 and benefits from a recent conversion to create a light and airy space. There are three good-sized function rooms across three floors, plus access to a kitchen and cloakrooms. The highlight of the Dovecote is the upper floor which boasts windows on all four sides, giving a stunning view over the picturesque village of Tackley. The rooms are available to hire individually or together.

3 Ground floor Dimensions 20 x 14 feet Up to 30 people can be accommodated in theatre-style seating arrangement, and up to 12 people seated in classroom-style layout with tables. For meetings or team training the room can be arranged with a large central meeting table and can comfortably seat up to 12 people. There is also a large projector screen available to use.

4 First floor Function room, dimensions 16 x 10 feet. Kitchenette with fridge and sink, and equipped with white crockery for up to 30 people. Two unisex toilets 1. The main room on this floor is ideal to use for catering purposes in a buffet-style layout. It can also be used as a smaller meeting area and can seat up to twenty people in a theatre-style arrangememt or up to ten people around a centrallypostioned table. Catering for hot drinks, light lunches and cold buffet-style food can be organised upon request. Please enquire for prices and information. 1 Currently all washroom facilities are located on the first floor. As the upper floors of the Dovecote are only accessible via stairs this venue is not currently suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. The nature and listing of the building restricts the opportunities for improvement in this respect, but we are working towards resolving this.

5 Second floor Function room, dimensions 20 x 14 feet, narrowing to 10 feet. Offering a view over Tackley on all four sides this top floor is light and airy with a breathtaking outlook. With exposed beams and pigeon holes on show, any event held in this room is sure to leave a lasting impression on your delegates or clients. This room would be ideal as a second conference or training area, or as a breakout area when hosting larger groups in the main room on the ground floor. Up to twenty-five people can be seated in a theatre-style layout or up to twenty people around tables to enjoy a light lunch.

6 Hire charges All three rooms can be hired individually or as a whole. The kitchenette and toilets located on the first floor are accessible by all hirers and from all floors. The Dovecote is available to hire on Bank Holidays with the exception of Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Weekend hire charges apply on Bank Holidays. Housekeeping deposit of 50 required for all bookings. Hire includes crockery (small plates and mugs) and water glasses. There is also a large capacity urn for hot water. If you require other items these may be subject to an additional charge. 7 Location The Dovecote is part of Manor Farm, situated just off the village green in the village of Tackley, around ten miles north of Oxford and three miles from Woodstock where Blenheim Palace is situated. Manor Farm is just off the village green. Look for the tall stone-built thatched building. The Dovecote is at the rear of the courtyard.
