2 OVERVIEW is a stunning grade II* listed Jacobean Manor House surrounded by 6 acres of formal gardens. Set in a secluded and private rural location, the property is easily accessible from London and conveniently situated for international visitors flying into Gatwick Airport which is just a short drive away. The property is offered exclusively to guests and is perfect for a special celebration, holiday, intimate wedding, film shoots or small corporate event. The gardens are a key attraction; highlights include the Tudor knot and herb garden, a croquet lawn, picturesque courtyard areas and the water gardens which have been converted from the remains of the old moat. Extending further from the house, there are numerous secluded areas including two small lakes offering delightful places to sit and relax or as the perfect backdrop for photographs. Please note that the extensive water features within the garden mean that the property is unsuitable for small children to be left unattended. There is however a small fenced off garden suitable for toddlers. A note from the owners: We purchased the front part of the Manor 15 years ago and have lovingly restored it since. The renovation project led on to us purchasing the back of the property five years later. We then set about the task of putting the house back into one with the help of some extremely talented local craftsmen. The finished luxury product mixes the traditional with the contemporary, the latter is especially true when it comes to the brand new high specification bathrooms, making for an extremely unique and comfortable experience. The formal gardens that wrap around the house have also been lovingly transformed by our team of dedicated gardeners, The gardens now boast a wonderful array of colour whatever the season; from the beautiful lilac Wisteria that covers the front of the house in May to the red Japanese Acer trees in October.
