Bergerac offers direct flights to and from the U.K as well as boasting exquisite local cuisine and world famous vineyards. The Chateau sits within beautiful private grounds and has a large swimming pool. The picturesque surrounding woodland is a haven for adventuring children who can also be occupied by the excellent games room. The welcoming elegant spacious rooms and extensive grounds provide room for rest and relaxation. The area is famed for its archaic historical sites and is within easy reach of all the famous 'Perigord' tourist attractions. The Chateau de la Cheine is in the local commune of Ginestet a predominantly wine and agricultural area. Facilities Page 1

3 Interior & Grounds The chateau has 10 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 6 WCs and can host 20 people in great comfort. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with all the necessary appliances, a living room with a fireplace and seating for 17 and a dining room. Activities on offer in the chateau include snooker table, a tuned piano, Wi-Fi access, Livebox, Satellite TV with English channels and table tennis. Of the 10 bedrooms, 5 are doubles and 5 are twins, most of which are on the castle s first floor. The chateau has central heating, and all bed linen and towels are provided. The large park to the rear of the manor offers space aplenty for outdoor games, and a BBQ area. Dining outside in the garden is a must as is taking a dip in the private swimming pool (with alarm system properly certified). Page 3

From private chefs to babysitters we can help you arrange those little extras that make it a truly memorable holiday. Simply fill in the concierge request form or contact the Oliver s Concierge Team who will be happy to help. We can typically help you arrange any of the following: - Maid service/extra cleaning - Private chef/cook/catering - Welcome hamper/pre-stocked fridge - Local day-trips or tours - Airport pick-up/drop-off - Babysitting/childcare services Extras available at this property: Meals can be catered for by your hosts. A popular option is to have a meal ready for you on arrival. Typically a 4 course supper will cost 30 euros per head with local wine included, the table will be laid and guests serve themselves. Half portions for children under 12. To be paid in cash on site. The housekeeper is optional. Please note that all extras are subject to availability and must be requested in advance of the holiday (prices on request). 5 Location & Local Information Situated just a few minutes from the historic market town of Bergerac (9km), one is ideally positioned to visit the many attractions of the Dordogne. The chateau is in the local commune of Ginestet a predominantly wine and agricultural area. From the Chateau de la Cheine you may easily access the towns of Bordeaux (1.5 hours), St Emillion (1 hour), Sarlat (1 hour), Perigueux (30 mins), and Limoges (2 hours). Local activities include cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis and wine tastings. Page 5

There may be a charge for the low seasons. - Linen & towels included?: Yes, excluding pool towels - Pets welcome?: No dogs - Changeover day: Saturday - End of stay cleaning included?: 10/person including children.the property must be left in reasonable order, all rubbish, bottles and unwanted leftover food must be removed. BBQ and fridge left clean. - Smoking Allowed?: No - Other Ts and Cs: No groups under 30 allowed. No stag or hen does. Names and ages of customers must be sent to owner before arrival. - Other Ts and Cs: 1 extra bed is available on request at a supplement of 200/week/adult (baby: free of charge). - Heating costs included?: Yes, except for Christmas and New Year when extra 450/week.
