3 Introduction This folder contains details about the buildings in Ramsey Parish that are suitable for community group use. This resource is intended to provide information about each venue so that groups can decide which, if any, are suitable for their needs. It also enables collaborative working between the managers/owners/trustees of the different buildings. E.g. should a group enquire at a building that is unsuitable or already booked they could be pointed in the direction of an alternative. The Folder has been created in such a way to allow for pages to be changed as and when necessary i.e. should a venue cease to exist or the offer change.

9 Ramsey Community Centre Address Stocking Fen Road, Ramsey, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE26 2UR Contact Mrs Ann Edwards Tel / Website Capacity The Community Centre has an Events Hall which will accommodate 130 to 200 people, depending upon if they are sitting or standing; a Bar & Lobby area; a small Meeting Room for up to 20 people plus a kitchen, toilets, and storage areas. Currently the Community Centre shares the parking at the Rainbow Centre directly in front of the Centre. There is also other car parking in the immediate vicinity. Facilities It is nicely fitted out with comfortable tables & chairs, and will have a removable stage with a sound system and a full array of theatre/disco lighting. This new centre is an ideal venue for club meetings; sporting activities; training sessions, parties and wedding receptions. The Hire rates depend upon which facility you wish to hire; when and the purpose. The hire of the main hall normally includes the bar/lobby area and the kitchen at no extra cost. A small extra charge will be made for the use of the sound system and a larger charge for the use of the theatre/disco lighting because of their high consumption of electricity.
