Canberra offers some great opportunities for an aviation law conference. The theme for conference - Aviation and Government - makes the most of the access ALAANZ has to some of the key players, within government and the private sector, who are shaping the future of aviation. Aviation law provides integral frameworks affecting the way in which governments impact on public and private interests. Heads of government agencies, partners of major law firms, barristers, insurers, general counsels, airline and airport executives and international university professors will help explore legal issues arising out of current aviation topics involving governments and the private sector. It is an ambitious program but at the end of the day, it won t be all work. You will be surprised by what the New Canberra offers for great food and entertainment experiences. The conference hotel, QT Hotel, is in an on-trend precinct with award winning restaurants, wine bars, cafes, a cinema, a gallery and impressive new urban architecture. Just on the other side of the city centre is the Australian War Memorial where the conference dinner will be held in ANZAC Hall under the wings of First World War aircraft. 5 General 35th Annual ALAANZ Conference Information Conference Venue The 35th Annual ALAANZ Conference will be held at QT Hotel, Canberra, which is situated in the New Acton precinct at 1 London Circuit Canberra. The hotel features luxury guest accommodation rooms and boasts the largest hotel conference facilities in the ACT. QT is a luxury design hotel with political chic. The hotel mixes quirky political references with classy spaces including Capitol bar and Grill, winner of the ACT s Most Prestigious Restaurant Award.
