Whn w first st out to build Wst Edmonton Mall and Mall of Amrica, my fathr and his thr brothrs took all of us around th world riding rids and xprincing xprincs. Th attractions w thought wr th bst wr th ons w trid to bring into our cntrs. It s about bringing multipl concpts togthr. And bcaus of th markt you r in, you v got to b top-in-class of vrything. It s got to b th bst thm park, th bst watr park, th bst indoor ski hill. And you hav to combin it with th bst rtail. Whn thy think about doing ntrtainmnt, othr dvloprs add rstaurants, movi thatrs, bowling allys, arcads. Our two xisting cntrs ar btwn 15 to 20 prcnt ntrtainmnt and 80 prcnt rtail. A lot of th ntrtainmnt concpts w hav in both ar powrful nough to draw customrs, and our xprinc has bn that thy nd up shopping. With onlin shopping and how it impacts cntrs, it s a lot asir to buy shos or clothing whn you r sitting at hom. But what maks us uniqu is that you can t go to a watr park or a thm park onlin. You can t go to a Cirqu du Solil show onlin, or a ski hill or an ic rink or an aquarium. So w havn t bn affctd, rally. W v got nough good dals in th waiting; if a tnant gos bankrupt countrywid, w r abl to rplac that tnant in short ordr. Washington Stat Fair Puyallup, Wash dats: Spt. 1-24, attndanc: approximatly 1.1 million 2016 attndanc: 1.1 million 2017 midway: Funtastic Travling Shows 2018 dats: Aug. 31-Spt. 23 Fair officials wr plasd with th attndanc at this yar's Washington Stat Fair. Attndanc was on par with 2016's total, drawing about 1.1 million visitors this yar, th sam as last yar. Highlights this yar includd: Animals of th World, End Zon Sports Bar, Ford F-150 Driv th Futur of Tough, Friday Firworks Spctaculars, Northwst Outdoors, Piglt Palac, and nw this yar was th Giant Insct Advntur. Thr was a varity of strolling ntrtainmnt and musical prformancs. Funtastic Travling Shows provids th midway at th fair. Th carnival brought in clos to 70 rids. Th carnival also utilizs th Funcard Systm, a cash card systm first dvlopd in 2000 by Funtastic Travling Shows. Th systm has bn in us by Funtastic sinc thn and has bn furthr dvlopd ovr tim. Grat Allntown Fair Allntown, Pa dats: Aug. 29-Spt attndanc: 303, attndanc: 394, midway providr: Powrs Grat Amrican Midways 2018 dats: Aug. 28-Spt. 2 Th 2017 Grat Allntown Fair saw many succsss dspit challngs from th rmnants of Hurrican Harvy that brought attndanc down. During th 2017 vnt, fair officials plannd clbrations for th 165th annivrsary of its founding. In addition, th fair commmoratd th 100-yar annivrsary of th yars whn th fair casd opration to turn th Allntown Fairgrounds into a World War I training facility for th U.S. Army Ambulanc Srvic. Ovrall attndanc was 303,000, down 23 prcnt from th 2016 total. Ovrall grandstand show attndanc was 39,777, which was up 12 prcnt from 2016, a bright spot for th vnt. Th numbr is th highst sinc th fair movd to Grand Island in 2010 and vn xcds th 2009 figur in Lincoln whn folks said goodby to th old fairgrounds. Rcntly I wantd to rplac th rottn lowr six inchs of an xtrnal 1x4 window fram. To do this, I had to mak a horizontal plung cut making sur I didn t cut or scar th adjacnt itms. I startd th plung cut by raising th guard to xpos th blad and lowr th blad into th 1x4. Thn th unplannd vnt or accidnt happnd. Th saw blad caught th glov on my lft hand, rippd th glov off my hand and in th procss turnd th saw around to whr th blad contactd my lft wrist and did its damag, including svring six tndons and two artris. By th nd of th yar, Luna xprincd its biggst dficit yar vr. In 1909 Kinnar sold th proprty to Kyston National Bank for $1.87. Th saga, howvr, was not yt ovr. M.W.Taylor from Philadlphia agrd to las th park from th bank for fiv yars. Taylor promisd that not only would th park ropn, but it would b mor magnificnt than vr bfor. That sam yar Forbs Fild, on of th most modrn ballparks in th country, opnd nar th park, along with Hippodrom Thatr. Th Pittsburgh Pirats had a winning sason all th way to th World Sris.
