For startrs, thr of our four campsits hav bn rnovatd to includ thr brand nw cabins rplacing our oldr and smallr units. Each of th nw cabins has two wings, a combind slping capacity of 40 and a roofd opn air spac for shltrd outdoor programming. Scondly, our basktball court is rciving a full fac-lift. Th court will b rsurfacd, lind for two sparat courts, lightd for night play, and includs 4 nw hoops. Th camp was foundd in 1969 by th Shboygan County YMCA and has bn offring summr camp xprincs vr sinc. Camp Y-Koda faturs a bautiful strtch of th Shboygan Rivr for canoing, kayaking, tubing and natur studis. Th proprty has a low and high rops cours complt with a zip lin and forty foot climbing wall. Camp Y-Koda also faturs a swimming pool, four acr lak, bb gun and archry rang, basktball and vollyball courts, playground, soccr fild, arts and crafts cntr and camp stor, and a hug slip and slid. Friday Fild Trips to camp Y-Koda Evry Friday, Maywood camprs will b takn on a fild trip to Camp Y-Koda for swimming in th camp pool followd by canoing, kayaking, fishing and mor swimming in th camp lak. SASD 4K Maywood Natur School for Childrn in 4K in Fall 2018 Shboygan Ara School District, Camp Y-Koda and Maywood Environmntal Park ar partnring to start a natur-basd 4K in th Fall of Our 4K initiativ aims to dvlop th whol child through daily natur xplorations and play in th outdoors throughout th sasons. Natur will b th cntral organizing concpt of our initiativ and curriculum will b basd on local, sasonal and natural occurrncs. Our program supports dual goals that addrss both child dvlopmnt and nvironmntal ducation.
