South San Francisco s City limits ncompass 4,298 acrs. Singl-family rsincs ar th prominant lan us, occupying 33 prcnt of th lan (nt, that is, xclusiv of strts, watr, an othr rights-of-way) in th city. Inustrial uss, incluing warhouss, manufacturing aras an businss parks, compris ovr a quartr of South San Francisco s ara. Th lan us analysis also foun that: Parks an opn spac occupy ovr 10 prcnt of th Planning Ara, primarily concntrat in Sign Hill Park an th California Golf an Country Club; Many of South San Francisco s growing or highst priority lan uss currntly occupy rlativly littl lan.
