Cusc is at an altitude f ver 11,000 feet, and Machu Picchu abut 8,000. Altitude sickness is a cmmn issue fr thse wh are nt acclimated t high elevatins. If yu feel that altitude sickness may be a factr fr yu during ur trip, we suggest that yu cnsult with a physician cncerning available medicatins t help speed up the acclimatizatin prcess and treat altitude sickness.
