Thematic discussin n The Rle f Turism Rutes in Fstering Reginal Develpment and Integratin The mrning f 6 June, under agenda item 5, the Cuncil will fcus its thematic discussin n The Rle f Turism Rutes in Fstering Reginal Develpment and Integratin. Turism rutes are an increasingly imprtant cmpnent f natinal turism planning and develpment ffering imprtant pprtunities t fster reginal develpment and integratin. UNWTO has gained significant knwledge ver the years n the issue f turism rutes, namely thrugh its Silk Rad Prgramme; such knwledge, alng with the numerus successful experiences f Member States wrldwide in develping turism rutes, creates an pprtunity t advance further this area f wrk within the Secretariat t the benefit f all Members. The Secretariat thus invites delegatins t share their experiences in the develpment f turism rutes during the thematic discussin. UNWTO Seminar n Tangible and Intangible Heritage and Innvative Turism Prducts The UNWTO Affiliate Members Prgramme, in cllabratin with the UNESCO Wrld Heritage Cities f Spain, will hld a Seminar n Public-Private Partnerships under the title Tangible and Intangible Heritage and Innvative Turism Prducts. Cuncil participants are welcme t attend (see detailed infrmatin in annex). 4.
