2 The Event SPCI & Friends at Gröna Lund is ne-day cnference fr the frest based prducts industry, with parallel cnference tracks and the pssibility fr cmpany visibility and c-events in a unique surrunding. The idea f having a prfessinal industry event at an amusement park initially grew frm tw successful SPCI events; an evening event at Gröna Lund during the SPCI 100 anniversary celebratins 2008 and SPCI Cnventin, a multitrack, easy-t-access cnference at Stckhlm Waterfrnt Cngress Centre in In 2015 the first SPCI & Friends was launched and became an immediate success, engaging clse t 3000 prfessinals in the frest based prducts industry. Our aim is t repeat the success in 2018 as well as adding new features such as a track fr students and yung prfessinals. 3 Cnference & Evening Prgram The event cnsists f a ne-day, multitrack quality assured cnference fllwed by evening activities. The available stages are the Gröna Lund Theatre, Tyrl, Dansbanan, Glasburen and the main stage, Stra Scenen. The cnference prgram will cntain several different tpics cvering the latest R&D, innvatin, prjects and investments, new materials, business areas and trends in the frest based prducts industry. The cnference prgram is put tgether by a cnference cmmittee with members frm the assciatin SPCI s pulp, paper and research cmmittees. There will nt be any call fr papers. All spnsrs have the pprtunity t cntribute t the cnference prgram. Each sessin will be 50 minutes lng s that peple have time t transfer frm ne stage t anther.
