Bus stp is apprx. 1.6 miles (5 minutes drive, 30 minutes walk) frm site One large site sign at entrance One manually perated green metal barrier at site entrance. Metal entrance barrier clsed but nt lcked frm 7 am t 1 pm. Metal entrance barrier pened during pitching hurs (1 pm t 8 pm). Metal entrance barrier clsed but nt lcked frm 8 pm t 11 pm. Metal entrance barrier clsed and lcked frm 11 pm until 7am the fllwing day Tw large manually perated metal gates at site exit. Unlcked and left clsed between 7 am t 11 pm Site Staff are scheduled t wrk up until 8 pm every day f the week. After 5:30 pm Receptin will either be pen r a sign displayed n the entrance dr asking new arrivals t phne the site mbile phne number fr assistance with pitching. After 8 pm mre detailed instructins are displayed n a sign n the entrance dr with (where apprpriate) envelpes with additinal detailed infrmatin t enable back packers and late arrivals with and withut bkings t pitch themselves up until 11 pm when the site entrance barrier and exit gates are lcked Overnight parking is available just utside the exit gate. There is space fr apprximately 12 cars Tarmac leading nt tarmac site rads The visitrs parking dubles as the vernight parking which is t the left f the exit gate. The gate t visitrs parking is nt lcked New arrivals shuld pull up t receptin. The surface is tarmac and is n a slight slpe. Parking fr new arrivals nly (2 large spaces fr tw cars and caravans) is just beynd the receptin area n either side f the rad There are n designated accessible parking spaces There is a handrail running parallel t the access ramp leading t receptin N steps but a gentle incline and a drpped kerb just utside receptin n the entrance rad 1

2 Yur Check in Receptin is clearly signed fr new arrivals Receptin and shp pening hurs are 9am t 10:30am and 4pm t 5:30pm When the receptin and shp are unmanned a message n the entrance dr will advise campers and new arrivals hw t find and/r cntact site staff Fr arrivals after 8pm a message is left n the lcked receptin entrance dr giving instructins t: a.) backpackers, b.) bked late arrivals and c.) nn-bked late arrivals. When apprpriate envelpes with further relevant detailed instructins fr bked and nn-bked late arrivals are left in the payphne bx beside receptin t further assist campers with pitching After 8pm the message n the lcked receptin entrance dr als includes instructins fr a blue light emergency (i.e. Fire, Plice r Ambulance) tgether with the site mbile phne number in rder that the duty manager can als be cntacted Tarmac leading t Receptin. Quarry tiles n receptin flr Gd clear flr space in receptin Yur Pitch Cars can be parked next t mst pitches n site The nearest hard standing is apprx. 60 metres frm the accessible rm Lse, large gravel r cmpact smaller gravel n the hard standings The majrity f hard standings are level and a small selectin f grass pitches are clse t the site rads Yur Facilities There are tw facility blcks The first designated as the main blck has an laundry rm, dish wash, ladies and gents tilets and shwers, a family bathrm (tilet, high level sink, nappy bin, and shwer) and accessible bathrm (tilet, wall munted wash basin and shwer) The secnd designated as the backpacker blck has tw distinct areas. The first area cntains unisex facilities cmprising f: tilet cubicles (2), shwer cubicles (2) and a male urinal behind a separate privacy dr. The secnd area cmprises f a cmmunal eating area, dish wash area and fd preparatin area There is a clear, well maintained path leading t the main blck facilities. There are steps n ne side with an access ramp alngside There are 3 pairs f steps with large landing areas in between leading t the main blck facilities There is ne small step in the ladies tilets in the main blck facilities and shwers just inside the entrance The tw shwer cubicles in the backpacker blck have a raised lip arund the shwer tray There is n semi-ambulant cubicle in either the main blck r the backpacker facilities 2

The tw sinks in the backpacker s facilities have screw taps Shwer stls are available within the gents and ladies main facilities blck belw a sign advising that they may nt take all weights and campers shuld therefre take extreme care when using The shwers are perated by a push buttn in gents and ladies and a dial in the family bathrm and accessible rm The main facilities blck has suspended ceiling lighting and the wash basin cubicles have strip light pull crd fittings Yur Accessible Facilities The accessible bathrm is lcated within the main facilities blck. Bth the washing machine and dryer are frnt lading but nly the washing machine can be reached frm the flr There is a wall munted irn with a freestanding irning bard Indr washing up facilities are available in bth the main facilities blck and the backpacker s blck The washing up sinks have screw taps in the main facilities blck and push taps in the backpacker s blck Either side f the backpacker s blck there is an utdr drying area with tw rtary clthes dryers There is ne lw level sink in the main facilities blck washing up area Yur Recreatinal Areas There is n indr recreatin area There is an utdr children s play area This is accessible ver grass with n designated path There is a single bench verlking the play are The play area has a bark surface with raise edges surrunding it t keep the bark in place. There are 4 glass recycling bins fr different types f clear and clured glass lcated adjacent t the site exit gates. One bin fr Paper/Cardbard, ne bin fr general waste, ne bin fr plastic and ne bin fr cans The fur 1100L wheelie bins are reached by a shrt stretch f level tarmac, gravel and paving slab rad frm the main site access rad alngside the lch There are n steps f kerbs restricting access t the refuse areas All bins n site are full height industrial 1100L units There is a fire triangle lcated at all five water pints which has unrestricted access ver grass 4

Fire assembly pint tw is lcated just inside the exit gates als alngside the site tarmac rad The site infrmatin leaflet given t all new arrivals describes the lcatin f the fire assembly pints Miscellaneus Infrmatin There are a few speed bumps alng the main site rad tgether with rad signs shwing directin f travel and 5 mph speed limit At night there is lw level lighting n the utside f the tw facilities blcks and the rest f the site is dimly lit by lights n the 5 water pints lcated arund the site The vernight/visitr s car park prvides space fr apprximately 10 t 12 vehicles dependant n vehicle size There are a small number f benches dtted arund the site Ready Camp There are tw Ready Camp units n site There is ne grass car parking space next t each unit. Other cars must be parked in the vernight/visitr s car park There are n designated paths leading t the tw Ready Camp units, access is frm the site rad stepping nt the grass One unit n site has fur steps up t the veranda f the Ready Camp.
