4 LODGING We recommend 6 hotels located in the Megève area (see next page). These hotels offer special rates and/or attentions to WMC participants and will keep some rooms available for the WCM participants up until a certain date (varying from October 31 st to January 15 th according to the hotel). The day rates per person displayed in this attachment include the proposed discount and are generally for a stay of 5 to 7 nights for two persons in the same room. Other options can be discussed with most of these hotels. Booking must be done individually by each participant. There are many other good hotels in the area but most of them have only a limited number of rooms available in March. A good idea is also to look at potential good deals on Booking.com, TripAdvisor or similar sites. LOCATION & TRAVEL By air: Air France and KLM. Megève is located about 50km south of Geneva in Switzerland (closest international airport). Main connections are via Paris or Amsterdam. By train: Sallanches or Albertville stations (respectively 15km and 40km away from Megève). Several daily trains from Paris, Lyon and other cities. Buses and taxis from Albertville, Sallanches and Genève are available on a regular basis. By car: A40 motorway up to Sallanches.
