2 The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County (BDB) welcomes you as an exhibitor at the 2007 Encompass Tradeshow. We look forward to helping make this tradeshow a successful experience for you and your company! It s Your Show Encompass was created for the sole purpose of bringing business-related information right to decision makers. Encompass will focus on Palm Beach County's ever-changing marketplace and provide attendees with the latest information on business services, solutions, trends, and hot topics affecting local businesses. Not only will Encompass give you the opportunity to speak to decision makers, it will get decision makers thinking about how companies like yours can work for companies like theirs. With a multi media-mix of advertising mediums such as print, radio and Web, we can expect an audience of approximately 750 attendees. Floor Plan A floor plan follows on page four. Electrical Power Please note, all exhibitors requiring electricity must be located on the perimeter due to outlet availability. Exhibitors must provide their own extension cords and power bars for inside the booth. Booth Furnishings The following items are included with all booth exhibits: 10 x 10 space with pipe and drape (8 tall backdrop; 3 tall side-rails; blue/white) 8 table (30 wide) with cloth (white; extends to the floor) 2 chairs 1 wastebasket Additional furnishings may be purchased from the event s official convention and services company: C4 Party Rentals. Please contact Craig Martin at (561) Booth Occupancy All booths must be staffed by exhibitor representatives during all open exhibit hours. Materials If you plan to distribute brochures and/or other materials at your booth, 750 people to attend this event. This event is open to the community and is free of charge. Signage A small sign identifying your booth will be provided. However, exhibitors are encouraged to bring their own signs and displays. Move-In Deadline In order to facilitate a smooth and efficient move-in for everyone, the venue will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, The Student Life Center will be secured by the NU alarm system. 2

3 Doors reopen on Thursday morning at 7:00 a.m. Move-in of all exhibit materials must be completed when the tradeshow begins at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, Exhibitors are encouraged to supply their own dollies for easy move-in. A room will be available for storage of large crates and equipment. Parking Once your exhibit move-in is complete, please park in the rear of the building to keep the most accessible spaces available for the general public. Signage will be posted to direct you. Dismantling of Exhibits Dismantling and move-out of exhibits may begin following the announcement from Encompass Tradeshow Management at 5:01 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2007 and must be completed by 6:00 p.m., June 28, All remaining materials will be discarded after 6:00 p.m. Exhibitor Booth Personnel Badges Exhibitors must register all booth personnel with the BDB prior to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 (SILVER Exhibitor 2 badges; GOLD Exhibitor 3 badges; PLATINUM Exhibitor 4 badges). Please names to Emily Elrod at eelrod@bdb.org. All exhibitor booth personnel will be required to wear the current show issued badge on the show floor during exhibiting hours. Badges will admit you to the exhibitors lounge. Exhibitors Lounge/Lunch You are invited to visit the exhibitors lounge The Jazzman s Café for a bit of rest and relaxation. Lunch will be provided beginning at 12:15 p.m. Lunch tickets will be provided at your booth the morning of the show. Coffee and donuts will be provided in the exhibit hall during the morning, courtesy of Dunkin Donuts and s Catering Department. Breakout Sessions/Audio Visual (for PLATINUM Exhibitors conducting a breakout session) Breakout sessions will take place concurrently in class rooms 127, 128 and 129 (located just off of the main exhibit floor). A schedule with session times and classroom assignments is included on page six. Each session is 60 minutes please allow time for set-up, Q & A and break-down within the time allotted. Each room must be clean and ready for the next group s session to begin before or at the time scheduled. Audio visual needs will be the responsibility of each individual presenter. Rooms are equipped with fixed projectors, PC, DVD, VCR and Document Cameras. The PCs have MS Office 2003 installed with Internet service. Each class room will accommodate up to 30 people and mini notepads will be provided by our Featured Speaker sponsor, Sir Speedy, and pens will be donated by All-Ways Advertising. Presenters are encouraged to review their equipment and classroom in advance. For your convenience, the venue will be open from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, Directions to (2600 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33409) 1-95 From the eastern portion of Palm Beach County, take I-95 to Okeechobee Boulevard Exit (#70), then take Okeechobee West about 3.5 miles to Military Trail and then head north. NU is on the eastside of Military Trail. Turnpike If driving on the Ronald Reagan (Florida s) Turnpike, take the Okeechobee Boulevard/West Palm Beach Exit (#99), then take Okeechobee Boulevard about 2.0 miles east to Military Trail. Go through the guard gate. Proceed until you see a large parking lot on your left The Countess de Hoernele Student Life Center is on your right.
