On behalf of the local organizing committee, we would like to extend an invitation for you to join us for the 40 th Canadian Radiation Protection Association Annual Conference. The Conference will include invited guest presentations on both ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, contributed papers spanning the full range of health physics and radiation protection, professional development courses and exhibitors displays. In 2018, the international professionals will be represented. We will be counting on the presence of delegates from the ICRP. And as we speak, we are trying to bring also ICNIRP. 2 The conference will be conducted at the Hilton Québec, a major convention centre located a 5 minute-walk from the world renowned Historical Old Town. Come and taste, with your eyes or with your mouth, a small sample of Europe in North America. WHO WILL ATTEND? Radiation safety professionals representing universities, hospitals, uranium mining and nuclear power plants, radiation safety consulting, and government agencies (federal, provincial and territorial). CRPA members are the expert voice of Canadian radiation safety professionals both nationally and internationally covering both ionizing (e.g. X-rays, radioactivity) and non-ionizing radiation (e.g. lasers, microwaves). WHO SHOULD EXHIBIT? Organizations that have business links in the radiation protection industry are encouraged to exhibit and attend. 3 EXHIBITOR LOCATION We plan a comfortable 8 x 10 booth in a very convenient set-up in Kent and St-Louis rooms. Drinks and food for breaks will be provided for delegates by the Allegro restaurant. Small and fresh items will be at your fingertips and available all day long. We will take our breaks and breakfast with you. All vendors are in the same room.
