Vehicle has to be at least thirty years old. Vehicle must be inspected by the Club Registrar at least once each year (RMS pink slip is acceptable). Minimum insurance cover of Third Party Property Damage. Full Comprehensive is recommended, proof of cover must be provided to Registrar prior to initial registration or renewal. Any movements of the vehicle (which is not to a Club event) must be notified to the Club Registrar for entry in the Daybook, or approved by the Club & entered in the official Minutes. Any unauthorised movement of the vehicle may result in cancellation of registration. Eligibility of vehicle may be reconsidered if it does not attend three Club events per year. General Business: Report on September Events Coffee Run to Evans Head - 9 th September. To Vespas on Oak Jim Hodgson reported an enjoyable morning thank you to Rudi & Sue. Alstonville 150 yrs Street Parade and Car Show 12 th September all over very quickly not particularly well organised Bryan White. Presidents Run - 20 th September. Enjoyable morning tea provided at Bryan and Helen s at Brooklet. Scenic tour to Pottsville Tavern for a great lunch an enjoyable outing. Northern Rivers Aero Club 11 th October. Invitation to be accepted numbers to be confirmed. Possibly 10 cars. Bowdens Visit Terry Goldman investigating sent no reply possibly 07/02/16 or 14/02/16 Coffee Run 14 th October details in October Accelerations at Italian Diner in Bangalow. French Run - 18 th October Combined run with Peugeot Club of Queensland - details in October Accelerations Jacaranda Weekend 7 th /8 th November unlikely any SSCCC Members attending. Coffee Run 11 th November events Committee organizing. Autorama 14 th /15 th November four / five couples attending Club Run 22 nd November Rudi Sue de Paauw are organizing. Coffee Run December following discussion, to be held on 9 th December. Historic Vehicle Log Book Trial Bryan White advised the meeting of the information on the RMS web site regarding the trial discussion took place Secretary to request by , that our Club be placed on the list of Clubs Participating in the Classic Vehicle Log Book trial Members to be advised when our Club is listed details on RMS web site. Possible update of Club rules necessary. Life Membership Bryan White spoke to his article in October Accelerations and made available to Members, a form - Life Membership Suggestion/s for Committee Consideration so that they can nominate a Member to be considered for life membership - subject to the requirements of our Club Rules / Constitution Show and Tell. Ken Bryce spoke of the many cars he has owned and his experiences with those vehicles Future Show and Tell Presenters: November Lex Cole Meeting Closed: 8.55pm.

We didn t know there were all the aviation hangars and other buildings to be checked out. Arriving early brought its benefits. Our members were able to get up very close and personal to the two warbirds, the training jet and several small planes, and find out all sorts of interesting Information from the pilots. There were also several displays in the Aero club that were worth a good look (a lot to do with the Second World War). The weekend was primarily an expo for future pilots or defence force personnel. Lots of information sessions on various aspects of aviation. The general public were able to look at the planes, the displays and partake of food provided by either the Rotary Club or the TAFE van. They could also have a joy flight in either the helicopter (Rudy and I spent some of our kids inheritance for a flight), the small planes, either of the two warbirds or the jet (this proved very popular). We joined the Northern Rivers Vintage & Veterans Club to fill the entire parking space in front of the Aero Club. Some beautiful old cars, as well as a vintage fire engine (this as well as two very old vehicles were on display from Bob Trevan). Sue De Paauw

The weather was a little dreary and threatening but all turned out well. We had coffee and scones at The Italian Diner. The food and coffee was very good (scones were home baked, with fresh cream). Bryan White was correct to tell us to look for the outsized picture of Sophia Loren - she took up nearly all of one wall. We had a really good morning, with lots of talking and laughs. Two of the ladies went window shopping while the rest of us continued to chat. Then we were all off on our various ways. Thanks to Terry for organising the morning run. Sue DePaauw

David provided instructions and explained our mission to us and we set off hunting for the clues as we travelled through the beautiful Tweed area. First stop was the adjacent Riverside Tourist information centre which is well worth a longer visit. We all eventually managed to find our way back to the Riv Bistro at the Riverside Hotel where we enjoyed a beautiful lunch overlooking the river, and much fun and laughter. Thank you David and Gayl for another excellent day. George Jensen with his special prize from Paris he drives a French car!
