5 Infrastrucre Infrastructure & Transport Transport Capea is ideay positioned aong a major north-south inand road corridor and has good connections to the rai and air systems, making it a ogica transport and suppy hub for access to major capita cities and nationa ports. Road The Peak Downs Shire is traversed by the Gregory Highway, part of the Great Inand Way system inking Sydney to Cairns via Dubbo, Roma, Emerad and Charters Towers. This route is fatter and shorter than the coasta road, enabing fue and time savings south into Brisbane and Mebourne as we as Sydney; and north into Townsvie.
