You wi join a naturaist guide for an eary morning bird wak through the grounds of Seva Verde. This is a very ac ve me for the birds, so you re ikey to see a variety of stunning tropica species. Your guide has a keen eye and a high powered teescope, so you can get cose up views of birds you might not otherwise no ce. Kee bied toucans, great green macaws, wood thrushes, grey necked wood rais, sun bi erns and vioet crowned woodnymphs are just a few of the birds that inhabit the Seva Verde Rainforest Reserve. Upon arriva, you wi be met by the head rancher who wi accompany you throughout the journey. You wi be assigned a horse and isten to an introductory tak on how to ride horses, in case you do not have any

5 previous experience. Experience is not required. On your horse, you wi cross creeks, grassands, pastures with ca e, his and patches of forest where you can reax, drink water and hopefuy observe monkeys and different species of birds, incuding the herons, tanagers and musketeers. It was used in a ceremonia drink and cacao seed was used as currency because of its economic vaue in many regions of Mesoamerica.

The tour begins in a sma town known as La Tigra, ocated around haf an hour from La Fortuna.
