2 GENERAL INFORMATION Warmest greetings! Society of Petroeum Engineering UTP (SPE-UTP-SC) wecomes you to the PETROBOWL ASIA PACIFIC REGIONAL QUALIFIER 2017, an event jointy organized with SPE Asia Pacific. This is the first time a oca student chapter is hosting a regiona event, and we re excited to anticipate participation from the student chapters in the same region. These are the detais of the event :Date : 25th to 27th of Juy 2017 (Tuesday to Thursday) Time : FULL DAY Venue : Universiti Teknoogi PETRONAS (UTP), Tronoh, Perak, Maaysia PAGE 01
3 DRESS CODE For Opening Ceremony : Smart Casua For Competition : Forma/ Smart Casua (Long pants, coared shirt and shoes) Pease note that seeveess, faded bue denim jeans, round neck T-shirts, sandas, sippers are NOT ALLOWED on competition grounds For Gaa Dinner : Forma attire (Suit & Tie, Dress), Traditiona Cothes, Coour theme: Back & White TRANSPORT A participants wi be soey responsibe for the arrangements of their own air trave. The organizing committee wi see to the arriva of internationa participants at the airport. Transportation to and from the airport and UTP campus wi be provided. 4 ACCOMODATION Accommodation wi be provided to participants in D Hote, Seri Iskandar. Check-In : 25th Juy 2017, 2:00 PM (GMT+8) Check-Out : 27th Juy 2017, 12:00 PM (GMPT+8) MEALS Meas wi be provided (according on tentative): breakfast, morning tea, unch, afternoon tea and dinner. Each team is advised to ony bring ONE(1) accompanying supervisor. A commitment fee of 78 USD (incuding PayPa fees) per participant/accompanying supervisor wi be coected prior to the event.
