To confirm your reservation, a non-refundabe deposit of $200 per person per tour is required. Reservations wi be hed for 7 days ony without deposit. (This payment is in addition to any deposit required by your trave agent). Once your deposit has been received, AAT Kings wi send your trave agent confirmation of the detais of the booking. A airfares are subject to strict ticketing deadines, to be advised at the time of booking. Baance of payment for your hoiday is to be paid 45 days prior to departure or within of 72 hours of booking if ess than 45 days but more than 8 days prior to departure, or at the time of booking if ess than 7 days prior to departure. Luggage Aowance One medium size suitcase per person, the sum of its ength/width and depth not to exceed 140cm (56 ) pus one piece of hand uggage which may be carried on-board the coach. Smoking and Seat Rotation Government reguations prohibit smoking inside tourist coaches. Pease restrict smoking to the ampe stops en route. Cothing and What to Bring We recommend casua, ightweight, drip-dry cothing, with some warmer artices for the evenings and cooer days. For the winter months, a warm jacket is recommended. Pack shorts, puover, rubber-soed waking shoes, swimsuit, towe, seeping cothes and waterproof jacket. Do not forget your hat, camera, sungasses, insect repeent, sunscreen, toietries and a fask for drinking water. Reguar aundry faciities are avaiabe en route. Dress in the Northern Territory is usuay casua, so bring comfortabe, casua cothing. Remember, in the southern part of the Territory i.e. Uuru (Ayers Rock) and Aice Springs nights in winter (May to August) can be cod, frosts do occur and occasionay a cod wind bows, so bring warm cothing to suit. The days are usuay sunny and warm. Around Darwin and Katherine tropica conditions appy, so come prepared. Remember to bring strong, non-sip waking shoes. This is a must. Kings Canyon Safety Information During the hotter months temperatures can reach and exceed 36 C or 97 F. At these times the Watarrka Nationa Park Rangers strongy advise that visitors do not take part in the Kings Canyon Rim Cimb. In this drier desert cimate heat exhaustion, over these hotter months, is a very high possibiity and a danger in such remote regions. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of our cients we offer a guided wak aong the Kings Canyon creek-bed as a suitabe aternative on such days. Top End Wet Weather Information During the wet season in the Top End of the Northern Territory (November to Apri) heavy rain and fooding can precude access to Ubirr, East Aigator River and Arnhem Land. Aternative touring wi be arranged. Uuru Cimb Information Uuru is a sacred sight for the Anangu peope and they prefer that visitors do not cimb it. With this in mind, we do not recommend it. Throughout the year the Uuru (Ayers Rock) cimb may cose unexpectedy due to Aborigina cutura reasons or incement weather conditions prevaiing at the time such as high temperatures, rain, strong winds, storms, ow ying couds or insufficient ight.
