2 CLIMATE Simiar to much of the rest of northwestern Europe, Dubin experiences a maritime cimate with coo summers, mid winters, and a ack of temperature extremes. The average maximum January temperature is 48 F (8.8 C), whie the average maximum Juy temperature is 68 F (20.2 C). On average, the sunniest months are May and June, whie the wettest month is October with 3 inches (76 mm) of rain, and the driest month is February with 2 inches (46 mm). GEOGRAPHY Dubin is situated at the mouth of the River Liffey and encompasses a and area of approximatey 44 square mies (115 km2) in east-centra Ireand. It is bordered by a ow mountain range to the south and surrounded by fat farmand to the north and west. The Liffey divides the city in two between the Northside and the Southside. Each of these is further divided by two esser rivers the River Toka running southeast into Dubin Bay, and the River Dodder running northeast to the mouth of the Liffey. Two further water bodies the Grand Cana on the south side and the Roya Cana on the north side ring the inner city on their way from the west and the River Shannon. The River Liffey bends at Leixip from a northeastery route to a predominanty eastward direction, and this point aso marks the transition to urban deveopment from more agricutura and usage. The Dubin Suburban Rai network consists of five raiway ines serving the Greater Dubin Area and commuter towns. One of these ines is the eectrified DART ine. The Luas is a ight rai system, consists of two tram ines that connect the city center with the suburbs. Dubin is served by a network of neary 200 bus routes which cover the city and suburbs. Evidence of trave/medica insurance. EMPLOYMENT PERMITS Basic Requirements The principe visa category for temporary empoyment in Ireand is the Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) Empoyment Permit. This is a category for empoyers to sponsor approved skied workers to work in Ireand on a temporary basis. Note that there are nine different categories of Empoyment Permit in Ireand incuding, but not imited to permits designed for foreign nationas to fi critica skis positions, fufi contractua agreements for services, and to compete internships. GNIB Registration within 90 days of arriving in Ireand, the empoyee and any accompanying dependents wi be required to register their presence with the Garda Nationa Immigration Bureau (GNIB); 4.
