HWANGE NATIONAL PARK Hwange Nationa Park is the biggest park in the Southern Sahara and it is part of the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area. CHIMANIMANI NATIONAL PARK Chimanimani Nationa Park is situated aong the eastern side of Zimbabwe bordering Mozambique in an area of rugged mountain grandeur, enhanced by many spectacuar gorges and high peaks rising to 2436m.There are severa streams cascading through the mountain formations as we as numerous mountain springs and natura poos. Widife species found in the park incude eand, sabe, bushbuck, bue duiker and kipspringer. Severa species of butterfy, birds, pants, snakes and shy cats are commony seen. KARIBA RECREATIONAL PARK Kariba Recreationa Park is based around the Kariba dam, which was initiay dammed so as to buid a hydroeectricity generation utiity for the benefit of both Zimbabwe and Zambia. The ake is 282 kiometres ong at fu capacity eve and 32 kiometres across at its widest point, 116 metres deep and covers an area of square kiometres. Tourism activities can be done both on and and water. 3.DARWENDALE RECREATIONAL PARK Darwendae Recreationa Park is based around the Manyame Lake. The park is 76 km from the capita city, Harare and it boasts of pains game such as water buck, bush pig, reed buck, common duiker, warthog, baboon, vervet monkey, oribi and porcupine. The Park is home to both aquatic and terrestria widife species. The mammaian species found in the park incudes White Rhinoceros, Cape Buffao, Kudu, Waterbuck, Warthog and Common duiker. 7. SEBAKWE RECREATIONAL PARK Sebakwe Recreationa Park is based around the Sebakwe Dam. On the bey of Vumba mountains are the Vumba Botanica Gardens, a must-see for a those who ove peace and nature. MUSHANDIKE Mushandike Sanctuary is a conservation area whose purpose is to provide a mutipicity of activities that incude game farming, game viewing and recreation. The Sanctuary aso houses the Mushandike Widife Coege. Mushandike Sanctuary boasts a wide array of predominanty pains game species.
