Visitors can step back in time and climb the 150 steps from the basement to the battlements and enjoy the magnificent views of the Lincolnshire countryside. Enjoy a vintage trip to the cinema at Lincolnshire's 'Kinema in the Woods'. Situated in the small village of Woodhall Spa, Kinema in the Woods is a vintage cinema which retains most of its original format and systems. 4 PLACES TO VISIT Should you be in need of retail therapy the local market towns of Boston, Horncastle, Sleaford and Spilsby are only a short drive away. The historic market town of Boston is home to the famous St Botolphs Church, known to the locals as the Boston Stump. You are able to climb the tower of the church for a small fee. Boston is also home to the countrys finest working windmill, the Maud Foster Mill. Why not visit the Kinema in the Woods at Woodhall Spa its like stepping back in time, this cinema has been runnin since 1922 and even has a resident organ player. The famous old city of Lincoln is only 35 minutes by car where you can explore Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle which TO THE BEACH If its a sunny day why not head over to one of Lincolnshires fantastic seaside resorts, Skegness and Mablethorpe are under an hours drive from Tattershall. Check out the Seal Sanctuary at Mablethorpe and Natureland at Skegness. Sample the classic beach side amusements and funfairs. If thrill rides are your thing head over to Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells, they also have a massive indoor and outdoor market. For a quieter Lincolnshire seaside experience head over to Chapel St Leonards or Wolla bank beach. South of Skeggy is Gibraltar Point, a renowned nature reserve, teeming with birdlife.
