For questions or changes contact Gabriel Gresko at Why is it called the Caulking Memo? The Caulking Memo is designed to fill in the information cracks that occur with the Museum s seasonal operation changes throughout the year. The Caulking Memo is distributed to staff and volunteers through the Staff Bulletin distribution list and a copy is posted in each department (if there is not a copy in your department please ask your department director). There are typically seven Caulking Memos a year: Summer (June September), Early Fall (September October), Late Fall (November), Early Winter (December), Jan and Feb, Late Winter (February March), Spring (March June). A Caulking Memo is produced when a seasonal Map and Guide is produced for the visitor experience. Reservations/Charters are not refundable unless the Captain cancels the cruise. 3

7 Call or for more info! Special Events Science, Myth & Mystery: The Vinland Map Saga May 19 - October 31. When it was first unveiled by Yale University in 1965, the Vinland Map immediately became one of the most valuable and controversial documents in the world. The Vikings Begin: Treasures from Uppsala University, Sweden May 19 - September 30. The exhibit includes priceless treasures, including helmets, shields, weapons, glass, and other artifacts dating back to the seventh century. Plein Air Painters Exhibition June 16 - September 23. The Maritime Gallery's latest show will present original art of the Museum grounds and environs. Anchors Aweigh (The Voyage Begins) July 28 - September 23. For art lovers and maritime enthusiasts, this special-themed exhibition offers new art works for sale by renowned Maritime Gallery artists. Plymouth Whale Watch Adventure August 29. The first one was so fun we are doing it again! Join us for a cruise through the waters of Cape Cod Bay and Stellwagen Banks to witness the majesty of whales in their natural habitat.
