For attendees canceling reunion activities prior to the cut-off date, Armed Forces Reunions, Inc. (AFR) shall process a full refund less the non-refundable AFR registration fee ($10 per person). Attendees canceling reunion activities after the cutoff date (August 23, 2018) will be refunded to the fullest extent that AFR s vendor commitments and guarantees will allow, less the non-refundable AFR registration fee. Cancellations will only be taken Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays. Please call (757) to cancel reunion activities and obtain a cancellation code. Refunds processed 4-6 weeks after reunion. Canceling your hotel reservation does not cancel your reunion activities. Parking & Shuttle Information The Holiday Inn offers complimentary airport shuttle to and from the Norfolk International Airport (ORF). Upon arrival at the airport proceed to baggage claim and there is a courtesy phone which you can use to contact the hotel for transportation. Complimentary parking is also offered to all attendees. 3 ARMY OTTER CARIBOU ASSOCIATION SEPTEMBER 26 30, 2018 HOLIDAY INN VIRGINIA BEACH NORFOLK HOTEL & CONFERENCE CENTER MACARTHUR MEMORIAL / SPIRIT OF NORFOLK Thursday, September 27, 2018 Downtown Norfolk is home to the MacArthur Memorial, the final resting place of the late General and eleven-gallery museum. Visit the gift shop and see a film summarizing the General s life and achievements. Next stop is the Spirit of Norfolk, the premiere cruise boat on Norfolk s waterfront. The harbor lunch cruise with entertainment features the sights of Hampton Roads harbor and the mighty ships at the Norfolk Naval Station. Enjoy a wonderful buffet with multiple entrees, sides, and dessert while the captain narrates. After lunch, enjoy a stroll on the open-air deck or sit back and relax in the climate-controlled areas. 9:45am board bus, 2:30pm back at hotel $84/Person includes bus, escort, and lunch cruise. This tour requires a minimum of 35 people. FORT EUSTIS / U.S. ARMY TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM TOUR Friday, September 28, 2018 Begin the day with a narrated bus tour of Ft. Eustis, home to the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command and U.S. Army Aviation Logistics School. Following the tour, enjoy lunch at the Ft. Eustis Club. After lunch, visit the only museum in the world dedicated to preserving the history of U.S. Army Transportation. Start with a guided tour of the museum which will walk you through the story of the Army s Transportation Corps, from the horse-drawn wagons of the Revolutionary War to the armored vehicles being used today. The museum hosts over 7,000 objects plus another 1,000 exhibit props and includes nearly 100 macro artifacts ranging from planes, helicopters, tugboats, and landing crafts including a newly refurbished Caribou. After the guided tour, take time to explore exhibits of interest such as the Aviation Pavilion. This tour requires a minimum of 40 people.
